Fall rotation has left the Magic: The Gathering Standard format wide open for new decks that could earn players up to 30 free booster packs in the MTG Arena Standard Metagame Challenge.  The Standard 2021-2022 season in MTG Arena has officially begun with the digital and global launch of Innistrad: Midnight Hunt. With ELD removed from the format, players are taking advantage of cards unplayable before, while adding new additions from MID.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is almost here. The game will debut on Friday, Feb. 4 on several platforms, including PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X/S. It’s the highly anticipated sequel to Dying Light, which was released by Techland in 2015. Twitch personality Hasan Piker received a DMCA notice from Twitch last week after livestreaming countless hours of Gordon Ramsay’s reality cooking show MasterChef. But following some rumors that the DMCA claim may not have been issued by a valid authority, Twitch has suddenly retracted Piker’s DMCA strike, explaining that it was “processed by mistake.” Last night, Piker tweeted out a screengrab of the retraction he received from Twitch, writing, “get fucked everyone.

While many of the best Street Fighter players in North America were battling it out during the North America East bracket of the Capcom Pro Tour, Capcom also announced that Street Fighter: Duel would soon be getting a global release.  The mobile game, which was released in China last November, is a joint project from TOPJOY, Tencent Games, and Capcom that has players forming teams of three fighters to battle against other squads.

Team Liquid support CoreJJ has reportedly been unable to obtain a green card and may alter Liquid’s initial plans regarding its starting roster for the 2022 season, according to Upcomer. Heading into the 2022 season, Liquid had planned for its new star-studded lineup built around CoreJJ to make a statement at the LCS Lock In Tournament. That plan could fall apart if CoreJJ, Liquid’s captain, is unable to acquire a green card.

PUBG Mobile’s update 1.9 will launch later today with a lot of new features to the battle royale game. The main highlight of the update is the anniversary celebration which is happening to mark four years of the game’s release. PUBG Mobile was released on March 19, 2018. Players who update the game before March 22 will get 3,000 BP, 100 AG, and a Nocturnal Rhapsody Helmet (three days) as a reward.

It’s the second week of Overwatch’s 2022 Lunar New Year event and that means there’s a new weekly challenge for players to complete that unlocks a slew of Soldier: 76-themed cosmetics. The weekly challenge begins today and can be completed until next Tuesday, Feb. 8. The exact time that the challenge ends depends on what region you’re in. Soldier: 76’s new Epic-quality Auspicious skin has a metallic blue base color for his pants and top.

IEM Katowice, one of the biggest CS:GO tournaments of 2022, is set to kick off soon. Twenty-four Counter-Strike teams have traveled to Katowice, Poland to fight for their share of the $1 million prize pool. Sixteen of them, though, will be attending the play-in stage on Feb. 15 and 16, and only half of them will progress to the main stage, which will run from Feb. 17 to 27.
