Derived from the fragmentation grenade, a commonly used item in shooter games, the word frag has become more than just the name of an item.  The word “frag” in gaming is regularly used as a substitute for “kill” or “eliminate.” If you’re on a killing spree and down many opponents, you might say “I’m fragging” to brag to your teammates about all the eliminations you’re getting.  While the term is now used to describe success in-game, its origins are much grimmer.

Lannan Neville Eacott, better known by his online alias LazerBeam, has punched the 20 million subscriber mark on YouTube. LazerBeam’s channel mainly combines Fortnite and Minecraft gameplay with reaction videos and a weirder, meme-driven, and comedic angle that appeals to his enormous audience. According to Social Blade, LazerBeam is the third overall Australian YouTuber, only behind Chloe Ting and Bounce Patrol Kids Songs, who rank second and first respectively. The Australian YouTuber, gamer, and internet star took to Twitter to report the 20 million milestone, commenting “that’s a big number” paired with a heart emoji.

Destiny 2 has an expansive list of modes, weapons, and endgame content that can be fun to reflect on from a personal standpoint with in-depth statistics and reports. Fortunately, a plethora of first-party and third-party sources exist, dedicated to giving players all the details on how they’re faring in Destiny 2’s vast sandbox. The Madden 21 Franchise Mode allows players to relocate teams to new cities. Moving a franchise to a new location requires a few steps, but any player can move their team to a new home.  After players enter the Franchise Mode and start their league, they must change their role. Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed franchise has cycled through almost every console generation and now has the opportunity to jump to Valve’s Steam Deck. Shotgun fans, rejoice—the Streetsweeper has arrived in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. As part of Black Ops Cold War’s season one, the full-auto shotgun has been added to the game and it can be acquired by doing an in-game challenge. The challenge can be time-consuming, but if you want the Streetsweeper bad enough, you can get it done. The challenge will be familiar to shotty players, who might find it a bit easier to run through than someone who isn’t familiar with the shotgun offerings in Black Ops Cold War or Warzone.

During the concluding cinematic of Fortnite Chapter 2, fans finally got confirmation of what they had been expecting (and secretly hoping for) when it comes to the mysterious character, The Foundation. If you’re looking to complete the Galar Pokédex in Pokémon Sword and Shield, you’ll need to obtain a regular Persian that seems to be nowhere in sight. That’s because the Pokémon is only available through trades in-game. It doesn’t appear in the overworld due to the presence of Galar Meowth and Purrserker. So first, you’ll need to grab a Kanto Meowth before you can go on your quest to get its evolution.
