Here are the notes and updates for League of Legends Patch 11.18

Riot is gearing up for the 2021 League of Legends World Championship with its latest patch. Patch 11.18 is the “first of two Worlds-focused patches” coming to the game in the next month, according to Riot. Every year, to “unleash competition” and “breathe new life into the meta,” the devs release a set of nerfs and buffs catered to pro play. Almost everything listed below has Worlds in mind, but the devs are “willing” to revert any balance changes if absolutely necessary.

Mountain Dew and Doritos packages now have double XP codes for Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. A new Call of Duty is on the horizon and now you can get double XP from Mountain Dew and Doritos once more. The Dew and Doritos campaign has begun again, with specially marked packages of the tortilla chips and sugary soda offering “dual XP,” meaning both double XP and double weapon XP, in Call of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard after the latter is released on Nov.

What are Heirlooms in Apex Legends?

While playing Apex Legends, you may have come across customization options known as Heirlooms. You may have also seen streamers or professional players sporting unique melee items while they play. These stylish upgrades are some of the most exclusive items in the game and they come at a high price. Here’s everything you need to know about Heirlooms and how to get them in Apex. What are Heirlooms? As described by the game, Heirlooms are “unique cosmetic melee weapons” for the game’s legends.

What do you get in Treasure Packs in Apex Legends?

When you get into an Apex Legends match, your first instinct after hitting the ground will be to look for weapons and supplies. Though you’ll probably be expecting your weapons of choice (or anything that’s not a Mozambique), a wild Treasure Pack that pops out of a supply bin can catch you off guard. Treasure Packs may look like a secondary loot box that players can open in the match to secure some high-tier loot, but they’re nothing like that.

How to fix the ‘Connection Failed’ error in Call of Duty: Warzone

Trying to identify the reason behind a connection error can be challenging, especially when your connection has been working fine for everything else that you do. Though server-wide errors and downtimes can be easy to distinguish if you have a squad that you frequently play with, lone wolves may need to visit a couple of sources to make sure that Call of Duty: Warzone isn’t down. If you’re in a rush to hop into a Warzone match, you’ll naturally want to get rid of the “Connection Failed” error as quickly as possible.

MTG Duel Snarl lands in Strixhaven complete cycle from Shadows over Innistrad

Duel lands revealed today by Wizards of the Coast for the upcoming Strixhaven: School of Mages set completes a Magic: The Gathering cycle of lands first introduced in Shadows over Innistrad.  A cycle of enemy color lands in Strixhaven: School of Mages (STX) will enter the battlefield tapped unless the player reveals a corresponding basic land type from their hand. Set to release in April, the duel lands went from Shadow lands in SOI to Snarls in STX.

The best Oculus Quest 2 cases

The Oculus Quest 2 has been creating quite a buzz and with the increasing number of VR gamers coming out, the headset’s demand keeps on increasing. But while the Quest 2 is much more portable than previous headsets, you can’t just carry it around in a regular backpack. Any bumps, spills or scratches, particularly on the internal-facing lenses, could be a disaster for your VR experience. So to prevent damage without compromising portability, here’s some of the best Oculus Quest 2 cases.

How to make buy binds in CS:GO

Buying weapons takes time in CS:GO—and every second counts. Whether you’re going for a team buy, you’re picking up utility, or you’re banking everything on an AWP, you have to stay on your toes. There’s defuse kits to take into consideration, flashes, smokes, and Molotovs. If you slip up and make a mistake, you’re letting yourself and your team down. If you want to avoid a crisis and never have to worry about buying again, use buy binds.

The best mill cards in Magic: The Gathering

There are a few unique strategies Magic: The Gathering players can use to win games. While more than 90 percent of players usually try to get their opponent’s life total to 0, there are some alternative options that exist like using the Infect mechanic.  Perhaps the most popular unconventional game-winning scenario, however, is to get rid of the enemy’s deck. MTG rules state if a player is unable to draw a card during their draw phase, they lose the game.

Where does Ninja stream?

Ninja broke the mold for what gaming livestreamers could do in 2018, breaking various records on Twitch in terms of hours watched and peak viewership. But over the course of the past few years, his content has moved across different platforms, making it potentially difficult to find him if you haven’t been paying close attention. While he originally gained popularity on Twitch, Ninja made an industry-shaking move in the summer of 2019 by deciding to leave the platform in favor of Microsoft’s platform, Mixer.
