Hate raids have once again propagated across Twitch. But this time, viewers from an entirely different platform are targeting LGBTQIA+ streamers on Twitch. Streamers such as EarthToBre, Blizzb3ar, and xProvexx were all among the first to report on hate raids stemming from Cozy.tv. Users descending on Twitch reportedly spammed Twitch chatrooms, Discord servers, and flooded creators’ DMs with hateful, homophobic messages. EarthToBre said that users on Cozy.tv encouraging these hate raids also restreamed targeted streamers’ broadcasts while mocking them.

Altoar isn’t one of the most-watched content creators on Twitch. But as the creator of one of its more popularly used extensions, Sound Alerts, the creator’s channel is among the highest-paid on the platform. While his channel only has 269 followers and no notable viewership, it’s purportedly eighth among all channels on the platform in terms of payout over the past 26 months. From August 2019 to October 2021, Altoar was paid $3,053,839, according to data leaked from Twitch last week.

Companions are special creatures in Magic: The Gathering that require you to build your decks around them to summon them. While they were released without a cost and appeared in your hand with no issues, they were deemed too strong and were eventually nerfed to have a three-mana cost to appear in your hand. TSM has parted ways with three tenured Academy players. Top laner Hauntzer, AD carry Cody Sun, and mid laner Sword have each left the organization. After a disappointing season for TSM Academy—one in which the League of Legends team failed to reach the Academy playoffs—TSM made the executive decision to leave some of its veteran players behind.  Today we bid farewell to Hauntzer, Cody Sun, and Sword. Seasons in online games come and go faster than real-life seasons. While casual players may not worry too much about the seasons, it’s a core part of the more competitive experience. Misfits Gaming has signed Minecraft streamers and content creators Tubbo and Ranboo, the organization announced today. They’re avid members of the Dream SMP Minecraft server and boast two of the largest Minecraft channels on Twitch and YouTube. Season 12 of Apex Legends, appropriately titled “Defiance,” is just around the corner. And you know what that means: it’s patch notes season.
