Make It Rain event launches inFFXIV, rewards exclusive emotes and MGP boost

A new event called Make It Rain has joined Final Fantasy XIV, where players can complete tasks and earn exclusive emotes. Players can begin the event’s quest in front of the main Aetheryte of Ul’Dah, by speaking to Ollier, a serious-looking man in a suit. You must have a job of at least level 15 and have completed the city-specific Envoy quests from the Main Scenario to unlock it. Astra and Viper nerfed, Omen and Brimstone buffed, and Yoru officially re-worked in VALORANT Patch 4.04

VALORANT Patch 4.04 was released today, with overwhelming changes to the entire controller category off agents, and the long-discussed overhaul of Yoru officially going live. Viper and Astra, who have spent months at the forefront of the completive meta, have each received extensive nerfs. For Viper, the cooldowns on activating both Toxic Screen and Poison Cloud have been increased, her Fuel drains 50 percent faster when both are active, and her Snake Bite duration has decreased.

Lane “Surefour” Roberts is stepping away from competitive Overwatch and signing with Sentinels to pursue full-time content creation. Apex Legends’ third comic page reveals Ash is awake and living with Pathfinder

Ash is back in Apex Legends. The simulacrum played a role in the season five quest, The Broken Ghost, but it seems that her stint in the Apex universe is far from done. In the comic, Mirage and Rampart visit Pathfinder to meet his so-called girlfriend. The robot introduces the duo to his new friend, the recently-awakened Ash. Pathfinder shows his solidarity to Ash: “I know what it’s like to wake up and not know who you are,” he tells her.

Apex Legends promises a villain with its newest season, and Mad Maggie is more than happy to play that role. The newest Stories from the Outlands and the season 12 launch trailer feature another villain prominently, however: Duardo Silva, CEO of Silva Pharmaceuticals and father of Octane.  It is Silva who rescues Mad Maggie from execution in favor of bringing her to the Apex Games. It’s Silva who appears to phase Olympus from its position high in the sky, nearly sending it crashing into Psamathe’s surface and wreaking havoc on Olympus itself along the way.
