Upon visiting Club Penguin Rewritten’s website and viewing its shutdown announcement, popular YouTube streamer Ludwig candidly expressed his opinion over the revived game’s sudden disappearance. Club Penguin was among the most popular MMORPGs of its time, primarily targeted toward younger audiences. After achieving its initial popularity, the game was bought by Disney in 2007. Ten years later, Disney shut down Club Penguin and pulled the plug on all active servers. The initiative to revive the beloved MMO, Club Penguin Rewritten, was a fan project that kept the game going even after its closure.

There aren’t many shotguns for shotty-spammers to test out in the early days of Call of Duty: Vanguard. Pickings are slim, but there are at least four to begin with. Described as an “experimental revolver-design shotgun” that has “surprisingly long range but typically takes two hits to kill and reloads very slowly,” the Einhorn Revolving shotgun is sort of a niche weapon in Vanguard. It can be equipped with attachments to help turn it into a long-range shotgun with slug rounds and more, but it’s slow moving and has few rounds to begin with.

Considering these rewards tend to be high quality, players often look forward to decking out their collection with these new additions. The bonus rewards are often made up of new styles and colors for skins that players can unlock throughout the season.

Blizzard’s decision to ban Hearthstone pro Chung “Blitzchung” Ng Wai has been heavily criticized. Fans of Hearthstone, Overwatch, and WoW are expressing their disappointment on social media and even encouraging others to boycott Blizzard. And some fans are simply deleting their Blizzard Accounts. Blitzchung was suspended from Hearthstone competitions yesterday after he supported Hong Kong protests in a post-game interview. Blizzard cited this as a violation of company policy, banning him from tournaments for one year and making him forfeit his Grandmasters prize money.

Epic Games always seems to find a way to spice up the gameplay in Fortnite. Whether through new game modes or changes in the existing meta, there’s something new to try out for the players that keeps the game fresh. Impostors Trials is one of the latest additions to the game and Epic’s throwing an event to celebrate its arrival. Featuring cool rewards for participants, only 5 million players will be able to participate in the event, which will start on Aug.

Amazon and Smilegate’s upcoming MMO RPG Lost Ark is set for a week-long closed beta next month—and there will be a plethora of content for fans to test out. While the game’s release was delayed to 2022, players can hop into the beta starting Nov. 4 and play until Nov. 11. Among some of the changes that the beta will have from the recent alpha test are an increased level cap, expedition level cap, dungeons, and main story quests.
