Most MMORPGs have a magic-based character, and Elder Scrolls Online has no shortage of them. Magicka governs your class abilities and your Destruction Staff skills, giving you a pool to cast spells and influencing your Spell Damage. An extensive data mine on the recently released Aperture Desk Job performed by Valve-focused journalist Tyler McVicker has revealed extensive information about an ambitious new Half-Life project from Valve, as well as information about a handful of other unannounced titles. The source code for Aperture Desk Job, released on March 1, gives an extensive look at “Citadel,” an impressive but unconfirmed Half-Life project supposedly in the works at Valve. Pokémon Go’s Festival of Colors event is going global for its 2022 iteration and with it, the Dancing Pokémon Oricorio makes its debut in the game.  Oricorio is a unique Pokémon, in that it has multiple forms based on different styles of dancing and movement. Each of the Styles changes the Pokémon’s appearance and type to coincide with its new looks.  In Pokémon Go, each of Oricorio’s four Styles is region-locked to a certain part of the world, meaning players will only be able to obtain one until they can trade with another player, access the others through an event, or the Form Change mechanic is applied to Oricorio.

VALORANT players might see a new mode requiring teams to capture points and compete for the highest score, according to a leak.  The ValorLeaks Twitter account posted about a new game mode coming to VALORANT that adds a new and exciting objective. Each team will reportedly try to capture points and compete for the highest score to win. It’s unclear if this means holding the area allows teams to accumulate points or if they’ll need to bring an object to a zone to capture it.

Following the launch of Streets of New Capenna via Magic: The Gathering Arena, new events, Alchemy/Historic rebalance changes, and the first organized Play-In event are dropping during the month of May.  The new Standard-legal set, Streets of New Capenna (SNC) is live on MTG Arena, containing several codes players can cash in on for free booster packs and card sleeves. WotC also released an additional code for XP following the update that is only available until May 5.

VALORANT players have figured out a way to jump off the zipline on Fracture and land on a beam beneath the map, allowing them to get out of the playable area without issue.  Fracture is the newest map in VALORANT and had a mixed reception due to its unique layout being drastically different from previous maps. The defenders spawn in the center of the map instead of across the map from the attackers, and the attackers can push either site from two directions by default.
