Amazon Luna is the latest company to enter the cloud gaming space. Since Facebook changed its company name to “Meta,” the term ‘Metaverse’ has become a hot topic. While it may sound confusing at first, gamers have been involved with the concept of Metaverse for the entirety of their gaming career. If you’ve been a gamer your whole life, the metaverse concept may sound familiar to you. All the MMORPGs and other role-playing games had their own worlds where players could explore, make friends, and even shop from NPCs in exchange for in-game currencies.

Niantic released their long-awaited new AR game collaboration with Nintendo, Pikmin Bloom, yesteday. This new AR adventure game functions similarly to Pokémon Go, having players venture around in the real world, collecting seedlings and putting together a squad of Pikmin. Players will collect these seedlings simply by walking, but you may be wondering which are in Bloom. Throughout the Pikmin franchise, new colors and types of Pikmin have been introduced. These creatures change appearance as they evolve, but their colors remain the same.

Nintendo announced today a new Nintendo Switch model set to arrive later this year, the OLED model. With upgrades to the Switch console’s specs, as well as a few new added features to the Switch’s dock, the newer version of the console builds upon the foundations of the Switch’s already-impressive hardware. A larger OLED screen will be included with the new console, in addition to a built-in, hardwired ethernet port—two features that fans have been asking for since the launch of the console.

Noble Pokémon are one of several key elements to the story in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, but due to the frenzied state you encounter most of them in, you’ll have to best them in combat before they become allies. This process isn’t as simple as just defeating them in a regular Pokémon battle. You will need to physically challenge the frenzied Nobles in direct combat yourself. This requires players to dodge incoming attacks while tossing special Balms in retaliation to weaken and eventually defeat the Pokémon.

Peter “Asuna” Mazuryk is an American-born gamer who plays VALORANT for 100 Thieves and has made a handful of notable appearances in VCT events. Magic: The Gathering has many mechanics with similar names that can make it difficult to determine exactly what some keywords do.  Intimidate, not to be confused with Menace or Fear, is a keyword ability introduced in the rulebook for Magic 2010, and the first cards printed with it came in Zendikar. The mechanics of it are similar to Fear, which was widely known as a keyword exclusive to Black cards.
