L.A. Galaxy soccer player and Mexico’s all-time leading goal scorer Javier “Chicharito” Hernández has signed with Complexity Stars, joining eight other professional athletes.  Chicharito is one of the most famous soccer players in the world, with over 14.3 million followers on social media. Niantic isn’t just sitting on the concept of Shadow Pokémon being a key feature of Pokémon Go. Team Go Rocket is now introducing the powerful Apex Shadow Lugia and Apex Shadow Ho-Oh as a new threat for players to tackle.  During the Pokémon Go Tour: Johto event, specifically the Johto portion on Feb. 26 from 9am to 9pm local time, players who have purchased the event’s ticket will have the chance to encounter these corrupted legends.

When Riot Games gave longtime support champion Sona a miniature rework in League of Legends Patch 11.16, the game’s developer hoped to make the champion more viable in the later stages of games played on Summoner’s Rift. But the alterations to Sona have made the champion a force to be reckoned with on the Howling Abyss map and Sona has become the strongest champion in League’s ARAM game mode in Patch 11.

VALORANT meets League of Legends in the tac shooter’s latest skin bundle.  Riot’s premium content art lead Sean Marino and senior producer Preeti Khanolkar discussed the upcoming Ruination skins in an interview with RyanCentral from VALORANT YouTube channel HITSCAN. Over a year in the making, the “collaboration” includes skins for the Phantom, Guardian, Spectre, Ghost, and melee. Halo Infinite’s first special multiplayer event started this week, but unlike some limited-time events in games, Fracture: Tenrai will provide ample opportunity for players to participate and earn rewards, which include samurai-themed outfits. The event has 30 tiers of rewards that players can obtain completely for free, and it will be available six different times during the course of Halo Infinite season one: Heroes of Reach. The first week it is available will end on Nov.

Fortnite: Battle Royale’s season X will be longer than planned, Epic Games said today in the v10.40.1 patch notes. The company has extended the season by one week, which means it won’t be over on Oct. 6 as first planned. Instead, season X should now end on or around Oct. 13. During that time, players will have Overtime challenges, now called Out of Time, to complete and get variants for their Battle Pass skins if they own the premium version.

Destiny 2‘s Festival of the Lost is bringing Halloween to the Last City. This year’s version of the event is introducing Haunted Lost Sectors, the Jurassic Green Pulse Rifle, and the spookiest cosmetics in the galaxy to celebrate Halloween. Festival of the Lost marks the return of everyone’s favorite space grandma, Eva Levante, who’ll be moving to the Tower and will be the vendor for all event-related activities while Festival of the Lost runs.
