Earlier this month, Riot Games introduced a new system for one of League of Legends’ rarer prizes, the Masterwork Chests. This system came alongside a whole slew of changes to the game’s mythic content, marking an overhaul to the reward system within the game. There is an even greater incentive to acquiring Masterwork Chests with the new system in place since you can earn a collection of free items while opening chests during your regular game days.

Pokémon Go allows players to test their favorite Pokémon species against other players and AI-controlled raids. Pokémon boast a set of unique moves that can be used in-game to deal damage to their enemies. In battle, each Pokémon has access to two moves: a Fast move and a Charge move. Fast moves will continue to chip away at the opponent throughout the battle, while the Charge move, as the name suggests, will be usable after each charge has refilled.

To end the Season of Mischief, Hoopa is being fully unleashed, with Niantic adding in Hoopa Unbound through Pokémon Go‘s new Mischief Unbound event. The event runs from Nov. 26 to 29. Along with Hoopa Unbound being accessible through the use of a mysterious bottle discovered by Professor Willow, Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres, as well as multiple other Legendary Pokémon, will be available again in raids thanks to the mischievous Pokémon’s powers.

After a number of pandemic restrictions and cancellations of in-person events, Fortnite finally will finally host the Fortnite Championship Series Invitational later this year as an offline event, Epic Games announced today.  The competition will take place at the Raleigh Convention Center in North Carolina on November 12 and 13, showcasing selected players from all over the globe compete for an enormous cash prize of $1,000,000 in a single lobby. Epic Games will be sharing more information on the event as its date draws near.

Sea of Thieves launched its collaborative effort with Disney called A Pirate’s Life this week. And while the game should update automatically to include new content, technical difficulties could prevent that from happening. The skin collection from the Outbreak event in Rainbow Six Siege, which debuted during 2018’s Operation Chimera, has returned to the in-game shop. Items are purchasable with both real-world money and the in-game currency, renown. Rather than glee, however, the Siege community has had a mixed reaction to the return of the skins since they didn’t come back alongside the wildly popular Outbreak event itself. Twitch streamer Haley-Isabel “MissQGemini” was caught using a cheat during her Counter-Strike: Global Offensive broadcast on Saturday. But she didn’t take responsibility for the cheat—she blamed her friend Clara. MissQGemini loaded a program that contained cheat menus, such as aimbot, triggerbot, and visuals, during the warmup phase of a competitive match on Inferno—while streaming the whole thing. In the config menu, she loaded a configuration called profile1.conf and switched off her default.
