Riot won’t make another ultimate League skin like Elementalist Lux to “avoid break[ing] the game experience”

League of Legends’ lead skins producer Riot Katana discussed the ultimate Elementalist Lux skin in a Twitter thread last night, explaining that a cosmetic of that magnitude won’t be created again. Having several ultimate skins with multiple forms on the Rift at the same time could potentially “break the game experience.” We would not be able to make a skin like Elementalist Lux again looking at what we know now. Zonic says he’s not retiring from CS:GO

Danny “zonic” Sørensen, Astralis’ former CS:GO head coach, has confirmed that he’s not retiring yet, he announced on Instagram hours after Astralis unveiled the additions of Kristian “k0nfig” Wienecke, Benjamin “blameF” Bremer, and head coach Alexander “ave” Held. Those three were signed by Astralis to replace zonic, Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen, and Emil “Magisk” Reif, whose contracts will expire at the end of the year. The 35-year-old skipper was a successful CS 1.6 player and is considered by many as the best CS:GO head coach of all time since he helped Astralis win four Major championships and a plethora of other premier tournaments.

Pokémon Go Tour: Johto is here, which means players are going to be reliving their original journeys through the second generation of the popular franchise, or experiencing Johto for the first time, through Pokémon Go.  This includes every Pokémon native to the Johto region being available as a Shiny Pokémon and players choosing their path by selecting either Gold or Silver once their adventure begins on Feb. 26.  And not only does the choice of version impact which Pokémon you’ll encounter, but once you choose your starter, there will be a slight shift in the rewards you receive from the event-exclusive Special Research.

Apex Legends’ Black Friday sale brings Wraith’s Airship Assassin and Octane’s Laughing Fool back to the store

Apex Legends’ Black Friday sale kicked off today with one of the battle royale’s most cherished skins. Wraith’s Airship Assassin cosmetic will make an appearance in the in-game store for the first time in over a year. The Black Friday sale also marks the return of Octane’s Laughing Fool visual. Both cosmetics will be available for purchase between Nov. 24 and Dec. 1. Airship Assassin is one of the rarest Wraith skins in Apex.

A trailer for Steven Spielberg’s Ready Player One, which is based on a book of the same name, debuted over the weekend. The trailer shows life both in and out of the OASIS, the virtual reality world of Ready Player One, as a battle rages for the world’s control.

It’s time get your hands on some old goodies. Riot unveiled the VALORANT Run It Back bundle today, which will feature five previously-released cosmetics from varying skin lines at a good price. The bundle, which hits the store on Jan. 12, includes the Sovereign Ghost, Oni Phantom, Prime Spectre, Nebula Ares, and Spline Operator for a total of 5,946 VP. “We get a lot of messages on social media from players who started playing after those skins were released, who tell us they’re checking their store every day hoping to get that one special skin they want,” producer Preeti Khanolkar and art lead Sean Marino said.
