Newcomer BEACN’s first foray into USB microphones is a strong foot forward—but one ultimately hindered by temperamental software. While many aspects of the microphone outpace its competitors, some of its problems don’t justify its price. Nuts and Bolts BEACN claims that mic is the first USB microphone to achieve active noise suppression, which would help eliminate unwanted background noise. It’s not perfect, but the noise suppression works well enough and can be easily adjusted through the BEACN app.

Wizards of the Coast is expanding the scope of the Magic: The Gathering Secret Lair drop series with a limited-edition collaboration with Beadle & Grimm’s. Beadle & Grimm’s creates products like pendants, dice, and maps for role-playing games like Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinders. The company recently collaborated with Magic for a collection to go along with the release of Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty. The Kamigawa collection included a backpack, deck box, several miniatures, and a Kamigawa world map.

Following the release of findings from an investigation of TSM CEO Andy “Reginald” Dinh and allegations that he verbally abused and harassed employees, the company held a town hall meeting after the investigation found that that there was “no unlawful conduct” performed by Dinh. At the meeting, however, a TSM employee reportedly aired their grievances publicly with Dinh regarding how the findings were announced, and whether a potential culture change would occur.

Hearthstone is a constantly evolving card game. Blizzard Entertainment’s production has changed a lot over the past couple of years. Hearthstone’s upcoming update will premiere the highly anticipated Mercenaries mode.  The newest addition to Hearthstone, Mercenaries, will join the game next week on Oct. 12. In it, you’ll be able to create your own unique team of Mercenaries that can be sent to do various Bounties, for which they’ll be rewarded exclusive loot and experience.
