Olivia Voldaren has plans to marry Edgar Markov and unite the two most powerful families in Innistrad. Edgar’s grandson, Sorin, aims to prevent this unholy union from occurring in Magic: The Gathering‘s upcoming set Innistrad: Crimson Vow. The Black-aligned vampire first appeared in Magic 2012 and has been a consistent character since then, with his most recent appearance being in Core Set 2020 as Sorin, Imperious Bloodlord. The new Sorin from Crimson Vow is a solid four-mana value planeswalker at Mythic Rare.

One of the most powerful weapons in Fortnite history is back in the game for just one day as part of the Winterfest celebration. That’s right—the Drum Gun is back on the island today. The Drum Gun is a rapid-fire submachine gun that was notorious in the time it existed in the game for completely shredding builds and enemies alike. Its large magazine made it easy for players to hold the fire button and cause total mayhem.

Since the release of Pokémon Sword and Shield’s The Crown Tundra expansion, players have been encountering quite a few Shiny Pokémon in the game’s newest feature, Dynamax Adventures.  Dynamax Adventures puts players in a group of four with other players or NPC trainers with a team of Rental Pokémon as they try to conquer a trial of multiple Max Raid Battles consecutively.  Inside of the Max Lair where these Dynamax Adventures take place, players have been encountering Shiny Pokémon much more frequently than normal.

As more champions are added to League of Legends, the lore of Runeterra expands immensely, allowing players to see how new and familiar faces interact with one another. Some new champions have close ties to characters that are not playable within the game, though their impact is felt when these champions step onto the Rift. In 2019, a new AD carry joined the fray, different from any marksmen that had been playable in the game up to that point.

League of Legends and Fortnite are teaming up to bring the first League champion to a non-Riot licensed game. Starting today, Nov. 4, at 7pm CT, Fortnite players will be able to purchase Jinx from League of Legends as a character in the game. Jinx will be one of the main characters of Riot’s upcoming animated series, Arcane, which will premiere on Netflix later this week on Nov. 6
