When you’re playing Halo Infinite, there will be outside factors that will impact your overall performance in the game. The sensitivity settings of your controller, frame rates, even your ping will have a say in your performance. Halo Infinite’s default settings are more than fine for an enjoyable for a pleasant gaming experience, but competitive players may find themselves striving for more since they’ll want every single advantage on their side. Increasing your fps can allow players to get more out of their high refresh rate monitors or let them enjoy Halo Infinite with smoother frame rates.

Most players are eager to test out all new features the upcoming Final Fantasy XIV expansion Endwalker is going to offer, and healer mains are in for a treat. Like other expansions, it will introduce two new combat classes: Reaper and Sage. The latter is an aggressive healing job that healers will likely want to test out, or even choose as their new main. The Sage will be the first class exclusive to FFXIV, others being usually inspired by previous Final Fantasy games.

Game Freak isn’t playing around with the rulesets for the Pokémon Sword and Shield Ranked Battle Series for Series 10. The Dynamax mechanic is banned from Ranked for Sword and Shield‘s next season. This means players won’t be able to use the core battle mechanic introduced in Sword and Shield during matches, essentially flipping the game’s meta on its head and forcing players to brainstorm entirely new strategies.  While Series 10 will be removing Dynamaxing as an option, it will also rollback the biggest change from the currently ongoing Series 9 competition, allowing players to use one Pokémon from the Restricted Pokémon list per team.

Having a solid strategy and mindset are key to win at League of Legends. You must be able to adapt and change your strategy whenever you need to, but nothing is for certain in the hectic world of League. Detecting threats and potential openings will heavily depend on your camera settings and your control of the camera. While you can just lock on your champion, it’s far from being the optimal way of using the camera.

League of Legends fans were teased and tantalized with the first three episodes of Arcane on Nov. 6, the beautifully animated Netflix series that follows the story of orphaned sisters Vi and Powder (AKA Jinx) through the seedy streets of Zaun and the luscious penthouses of Piltover. To build up the suspense, Riot and Netflix made the decision to split Arcane into three separate acts, totaling nine episodes, and over 350 minutes of running time.

Mediatonic’s obstacle course game Fall Guys keeps things fresh with regular content updates in the form of themed seasons. The seasons, which arrive every two to four months, typically include a slew of cosmetics as well as new obstacles, shows, and sometimes game modes. The battle royale-style title filled with mini-games released in August 2020, and since then, there have been a handful of seasons with themes ranging from medieval to futuristic.

Pokémon Go Fest 2021’s second day is underway and all of the Raid Day content for the event is going live globally. The content includes a new set of rotating raid hours focused on specific Legendary Pokémon and a new Special Research.  Surprise! FaZe Clan squashed Sentinels’ VALORANT Champions Tour playoff hopes on Saturday, defeating them 2-0 in an intense series. The result gave FaZe a much-needed lifeline to keep their own Stage Two hopes alive. Sentinels announced that head coach Rawkus would continue to fill in for SicK prior to the match, with SicK still needing to attend to a family emergency. The emergency substitute helped put up a valiant effort for a team that was once considered the best in the world, but ultimately, Sentinels just couldn’t contain FaZe.

The World of Warcraft Burning Crusade Classic beta is officially live. But as of now, only a limited number of players have access. Blizzard announced at BlizzConline in February that the game would be released sometime this year. And early this week, the beta began. While you may not have the beta unlocked on your account yet, there’s already a way to prepare yourself and potentially get into the testing. In just a few short steps, you can opt in to the beta.

Fortnite began a two-week “Best Friendzy” event today that rewards players with in-game cosmetics for playing games with people on their friends list. The event runs from today, Aug. 31, until Sept. 12. Players can begin the process of unlocking new goodies by registering their Epic Games account with the bestfriendzy.fortnite.com website. There are four rewards in total: The Outer Space Handshake emote, Invasion Remix lobby track, Life’s a Beach gun wrap, and Aquari-Axe pickaxe.
