Multiple games published by Blizzard Entertainment that run through the Battle.net client, including Overwatch and Hearthstone, experienced outages late on Dec. 14 due to a confirmed distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack. Intermittent outages and bugs began around 9:45pm CT. A tech support poster on the Overwatch forums, run by Blizzard Entertainment, confirmed that server issues would possibly disrupt players. At the time, the cause of the issues was unknown and the post was limited to Overwatch and, specifically, warning players to avoid competitive mode as to not incur penalties for leavers.

The Sacred Land is one of World of Light’s puzzle-heavy sections in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The area, located in the World of Dusk (or Dark, depending on who you’re asking), rewards you for exploring and working on the puzzles that the Owl Statues give you. Hallow’s End is officially upon Azeroth in World of Warcraft Classic, and for Burning Crusade players, it’s finally time to take on the Headless Horseman. Players can summon the Headless Horseman one time every day. This means that in a full group of five players, each can summon the horseman, giving you five total opportunities to get some of the unique seasonal loot. Along with three different rings, the horseman drops a helmet, a sword with an on-use ability that summons Pumpkin Soldiers, and other goodies.

Watching Twitch from the comfort of your own living room is something most dreamed about considering Twitch doesn’t have application support on most Smart TVs. Now it’s a reality, though. Like most multimedia apps, Twitch doesn’t support screen mirroring, so this method can’t be used to connect your smartphone to a smart TV. Instead, you’ll have to make use of an app called Tubio.  Tubio connects to your smart TV by using your internet connection.

Everfrost is one of the best Mythic items for mid lane champions in League of Legends. It allows you to unleash a flurry of ice to deal damage and slow enemies caught by it. But despite having great stats and a powerful effect, it was underpicked compared to other Mythic options until recently. The buffs to Everfrost in Patch 11.4 increased the gold efficiency of the item and will define the meta in the future.

League of Legends releases more than 100 skins for its champions every year, and over more than 10 years, Riot has almost reached the 2,000 skin mark for summoners to use. In 2021 alone, the total number of skins given to champions was 127, according to the League Wiki.  But there have been instances where League players felt like some of their favorite champions received more skins than others. With every variant of Yu-Gi-Oh! comes some type of Forbidden and Limited card list Konami uses to help maintain a balanced competitive meta. For the mobile game Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links, Konami implements not only an original ban list, but also utilizes a completely different classification system for cards included with each iteration.  Unlike the official TCG Forbidden and Limited Card, the Duel Links Forbidden and Limited list is broken up into four specific parts instead of three.

Most keyboards use a QWERTY layout originally designed for typewriters. While most people use these keyboards daily, they aren’t the most ergonomic options and can cause repetitive strain injuries (RSIs) over time. Split keyboards are designed to be more ergonomic and place users’ hands in a more natural position. Apart from hand positioning, split keyboards also help with posture by placing each side of the keyboard at shoulder width. When each half is at shoulder width, the user sits more upright with their back straight instead of hunched.

League of Legends becomes more fun with friends to play. But a recurring bug may make it impossible for you to invite your friends into a lobby. Though this bug doesn’t have a specific code or a name, it prevents players from seeing any of their friends on the right side of the client. The bug also makes it impossible for players to accept invites, which adds more salt to the injury.

Valheim has quickly become a popular early-access survival game throughout the last few months. Thousands of players have explored vast maps as they craft or collect items and gear to defeat the game’s five bosses.  While Valheim currently offers hours of entertainment, many players are curious about what future updates will come to the game. Valheim developer Iron Gate Studio gave fans a taste of what’s to come with a roadmap in February, but developers have since adjusted their plans to accommodate new priorities.
