Jun “Dodo” Kang, the general manager of Team Liquid’s League of Legends division, has shed some light on CoreJJ’s green card situation in a post on social media. It turns out the support player could have potentially been driven to retirement if he didn’t receive the card in time. With Core's status finally being settled, I can share this now – that there was a VERY high chance that if Core didn't receive his Green card by Feb, we would have lost Core.

The addition of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s weapons into Warzone can be confusing at times considering there are some new guns that have the same exact name as old ones already in-game. Black Ops Cold War’s AUG is different from Modern Warfare’s AUG. The new game’s gun is a tactical burst rifle, while last year’s model, also in Warzone, is a submachine gun. The injection of 30 new guns into Warzone’s meta has been a welcome change, offering players a ton of variety when it comes to loadouts in Verdansk.

Zeri received a series of buffs in League of Legends Patch 12.11 that aimed to bring her back to a reasonable place in the meta. And while the buffs definitely succeeded in making her a more viable champion in solo queue, Riot may have gone overboard. Thankfully, the devs have been quick to react and have shipped a hotfix. In the hotfix, which is now live, the devs focused on four champions, but Zeri received the most substantial changes of the lot.

Riot Games’ League of Legends animated series, Arcane, is coming to Netflix this weekend. To celebrate the occasion, Riot is releasing several skins for League champions who will appear in the show. Earlier this year, Microsoft pulled off what could be considered one of the biggest acquisitions in the history of the video game industry. The multi-tech giant is set to acquire Activision Blizzard in a staggering $68.7 billion deal. And with that, the games made by the developer could be making its way to Microsoft. This move also allows the Xbox creators to add more titles to its arsenal, although its games might still appear on rival platforms such as Sony’s PlayStation.

New items, dragons, and more surprising changes are coming to League of Legends in 2022. Starting in November with the preseason, Riot will be testing a series of features. Instead of the usual overhaul or revamp, the preseason will improve on foundations laid over the past few years.  “For this year’s preseason, we’re sprucing things up with our existing systems, like items, runes, and the elemental rift,” Riot’s director of gameplay production Jeremy Lee said on Oct.

A total of six big changes, along with a number of smaller improvements, will be made to Teamfight Tactics Double Up without the mode getting taken down from the live servers, according to Riot Games.  Riot introduced the TFT Double Up mode with the release of Set Six Gizmos and Gadgets, expecting to take it off the live servers prior to the launch of Set 6.5 for upgrades and improvements. The mode allows players to compete with friends in a two-vs-two environment via a lobby of four teams and eight players.

Nethergarde Bitter is a necessity when leveling in WoW: The Burning Crusade Classic. It’s a much-needed item for one of the expansion’s early quests. But the item isn’t purchasable in Outland and should be purchased before you make your jump through the Dark Portal.  Nethergarde Bitter is required for the quest “Gaining Mirren’s Trust,” which players will encounter during the early stages of the Burning Crusade leveling process in Hellfire Peninsula.
