Update Dec. 3 9:08pm CT: Hours after the conclusion of the match, Riot ruled that Vivo Keyd’s Jonathan “JhoW” Glória used an exploit involving Cypher’s camera during the third map of the series, which Keyd initially won 13-8. Due to this, the six rounds in which JhoW used the exploit, as well as an additional round, have been awarded to Acend, meaning Acend have retroactively won the third map of the series by a score of 13-9.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus has a structured main story that will have players traveling across the Hisui region, exploring new locations, and capturing Pokémon as they work to build out the region’s first Pokédex. Multiple side quests and events will appear throughout your journey, too.  One such event is the overarching Unown Research Notes, which tasks players with finding hidden Unown spread throughout the region.

Jonas Mello, the Brazilian voice actor for League of Legends champions Braum and Xerath, died yesterday at the age of 83, according to Brazillian news portal Noticias Da Tv. Mello’s body was found in his apartment in São Paulo on Nov. 18. In addition to lending his voice to Riot’s hit MOBA, the Brazilian actor voiced over Saruman in The Lord of the Rings and Joe Swanson from Family Guy in their Portuguese adaptations.

Moist Esports, the organization founded and run by Cr1TiKaL and his team, teased that it’d be expanding its roster on May 5.  Fans speculated that this could mean anything from adding another player from the fighting game community (FGC) to its lineup to entering a new scene entirely. The latter proved to be the correct guess since Moist is boosting into Rocket League for the first time by signing the former Team Queso roster.

World of Warcraft’s latest expansion, Shadowlands, launched with the longest initial patch in the game’s history. But new content, including the raid “Sanctum of Domination,” is just around the corner. Patch 9.1 releases next week on Tuesday, June 29. Sanctum of Domination, however, won’t immediately be available.  The first week of the patch will serve as an offseason of sorts as people get introduced to a new zone, Korthia, City of Secrets, and work to earn flying in the Shadowlands.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus added in several new regional variants and evolutions for older Pokémon, giving each of them a reason to be present in the ancient region of Hisui.  Most of these Pokémon play a role in the game’s story, whether they appear as a Nobel Pokémon or simply act as an obstacle to finishing the region’s first Pokédex. For example, Scyther now evolves into the Bug/Rock-type Kleavor, but only once you use a special item.

Pokémon Go Tour: Johto is tossing players back into the second generation by focusing on Pokémon native to Johto and splitting things up into paths based on the original Gold and Silver.  Along with dictating which handful of version-exclusive Pokémon you will be encountering, the version you select can also impact small parts of the event’s Special Research and Collection Challenges.  Specifically for the Collection Challenges, Niantic has split them up to revolve around general Pokémon Go gameplay and Go Tour: Johto’s habitat rotation.
