Before zombie game modes and TV shows became mainstream, the Left 4 Dead franchise was the sole representative of the genre. Its design and gameplay elements were revolutionary, and many gamers dedicated hours to beat the games alongside friends. The Left 4 Dead franchise was cut short at only two games, but its developers are back with a new game that resembles their enthusiasm for the genre. Back 4 Blood is more than a zombie survival game, it’s the long-awaited heir of the Left 4 Dead series.

The Overwatch League offseason can apparently still be a bloodbath even if you’re one of the most successful franchises to ever play the game. Today, the San Francisco Shock announced it would be parting ways with seven of its players. This includes DPS players Sean “ta1yo” Henderson, Charlie “nero” Zwarg, Lim “Glister” Gil-seong, and Lee “ANS” Seon-chang, flex support Lee “Twilight” Ju-seok, main tank Yoo “smurf” Myeonghwan, and main support Brice “FDGoD” Monscavoir.

After weeks of crashing servers, Apex Legends players on Xbox should finally see some improvements. Respawn developer and Apex support team member Pav announced on Twitter that an update specific to Xbox is now live and should fix the issue. The crashing issue is due to an exploit specific to Xbox. Players in the game’s ranked mode that played on the console could trigger the exploit upon dying, which would crash the entire server and send the lobby back to the main menu of the game with an error code.

Apex Legends Mobile is just around the corner. Respawn Entertainment’s famous shooter is getting a mobile port, which will release on Android and iOS on May 17. Until it launches, though, players who are looking into the title can save their spot and register ahead of time—and gain some rewards while they’re at it. At time of writing, 14 million players already pre-registered, according to the game’s official website, meaning Apex Legends Mobile will likely have a blooming player pool once it launches.

The developers at Activision and Infinity Ward promise an enhanced Gunsmith, improved water graphics, and better enemy AI in MWII, and an evolved version of Warzone that will feature new tech, new content, and new features. For the next premier Call of Duty release, Modern Warfare II, there will be a plethora of modes for players to participate in, either by themselves, with allies, or against enemy players.

A Hype Train on Twitch is a visual illustration of an influx in monetary support for a given channel. The support can come in the form of subscriptions, dollar donations, or donations of at least 100 bits, but it can’t be started by just one viewer. It has to be a community effort. Subscriptions that contribute to a Hype Train can be normal subscriptions, Prime subs, or even gifted subs. The exact number of contributions required to start a Hype Train can fluctuate from channel to channel depending on thresholds set by each individual streamer.

After the first season of the Arcane series came to an end, it has received overwhelmingly positive receptions from both critics and fans—but fans are still discovering more about the series, even from a poster from before its release.
