EA posted huge numbers on its most recent earnings sheet, led by hits like Apex Legends and FIFA. The company’s performance during the second quarter of its 2022 fiscal year was the strongest second quarter in EA’s entire history. Apex’s earnings in particular were outstanding, a staggering 150 percent higher than they were during the second quarter of last year. It’s the most money players have ever spent in-game, partly because there were two collection events during the quarter, leading to a nice bonus for EA.

A prominent gaming content creator has pitched a new passive for Pathfinder, and it might look familiar to Apex Legends fans who’ve been jumping into the game on mobile recently. In a video shared to YouTube yesterday, content creator The Gaming Merchant suggested one of Pathfinder’s new perks in Apex Legends Mobile should become his new passive on PC and console. Currently, Pathfinder’s passive is Insider Knowledge, which allows him to scan survey beacons to reveal the location of the next ring.

After more than a month of waiting, LCS fans and the general competitive League of Legends community can soon set their eyes on a fully powered Team Liquid. The team’s superstar support CoreJJ has finally acquired his green card and is now a resident of North America, according to an update in Riot Games’ official Global Contract Database. Ever since rumors swirled in the offseason around Liquid’s upcoming superteam, many people wondered how the organization would fit multiple international stars in the lineup without breaking the import rule set for the league.

LeBlanc has earned this year’s League of Legends Championship skin in celebration of the upcoming World Championship, according to the latest 10.19 PBE update. She will be the joining the ranks of Riven, Thresh, Shyvana, Kalista, Zed, and others as one of the champions who impacted that year’s professional play. The Championship skins are usually one of the most popular skin lines, but they’re only available for some limited time so players need to splurge on them as soon as possible before they disappear from the store.

The Apex Legends’ Market Crossover skins are now available in-game after a seven-month delay.  In March, the Market brand faced backlash for its previous name, Chinatown Market, causing Respawn to hold the release of the crossover skins and Chinatown Market to rebrand to simply Market. The word “Chinatown” has been removed from all skins and fans can finally get their hands on the Legendary cosmetics.  The Market is open. Destiny 2’s The Witch Queen expansion brought players to Savathûn’s Throne World, the latest destination in the franchise. Like every other location, the Throne World has its own set of gear, which drops from specific activities in the area and from some quests. From the Forensic Nightmare Stasis submachine gun to the Red Herring rocket launcher, these drops come with new perks and rare combinations, making them good additions to your arsenal.

For Halloween, numerous titles added spooky features to the game based on the holiday. Phasmophobia, unsurprisingly, is no different. Kinetic Games added the Nightmare Update in the last week of October, bringing a new game mode, four unique ghosts, a new map called Maple Lodge, and another difficulty. New World, Amazon’s entry into the popular MMO genre, is now free for Steam users to try out from Thursday until Monday. The game, which launched back in June 2021, has seen a decline in players over recent months.
