On May 28, Natus Vincere announced that it was parting ways with Boombl4 following his three-year tenure with the team, explaining that keeping the CS:GO in-game leader could have “high reputational risks for the club.” Alexey “xaoc” Kucherov, NAVI’s COO, has now hinted at a few possible changes that could be coming to the team in the near future. In an interview with Dexerto’s Luís Mira, xaoc admitted that NAVI is considering moving electroNic to the in-game leader position.

Epic Games can put on an in-game show unlike any other developer, and this past week. The company outdid itself, however, for an “Astronomical” event with rapper Travis Scott that had 27.7 million unique players participating. Immediately after the opening main event on Thursday night, Epic announced that it had a maximum of 12.3 million concurrent players participating, breaking a record for players participating in such an event. Pokémon Go players were introduced to a new event, the Spring into Spring Collection challenge, on April 3. Alongside bringing new spring-themed Pokémon to the game for the first time, there are a handful of new challenges that will keep you busy throughout the event until April 8. At some point down the road, you’ll need to capture a Shadow Exeggcute to complete the Collection challenge, which can be relatively harder than it sounds.

The new PlayStation 5 beta comes with several new features and updated systems, but some of the most significant additions are the new voice commands. Sony’s first version of voice commands first appeared on the PlayStation 4. Like on Xbox One, users could navigate to and open different games and media, but it was less intuitive since it required a separately connected mic to work. With this new beta version on PS5, users will still need a microphone but can use the one inside the DualSense controller.

Longtime professional and one of the pillars of the competitive Call of Duty community, Parasite, has called it a career after over a decade of competing, he announced on Twitter today.  “I’ve lost all my passion to compete,” the 2013 world champion said. “I actually never thought I’d reach a point where it died but when the game is constantly moving backwards and despite all your accomplishments and performances yearly yet your career isn’t going anywhere it’s kinda expected.

Hiko is a seasoned CS:GO veteran who switched to VALORANT in April. Hiko’s decision to leave CS was surprising to fans because he was involved in the scene since his debut in 2011. Though he was a part of legendary squads like 2014 Cloud9 and 2016 Team Liquid, Hiko was visibly getting burned out and entering a slump in 2019.  He was benched on Rogue in 2019 and was moving away from streaming as well.
