Resident Evil is a long-running action-horror game series created by Capcom. Since their inception in 1996, these games were known for being scary and even pioneered some of the horror elements we see in modern titles. But not all of the titles in the series did so well. As such, we are ranking the Resident Evil games to see which ones were more beloved and which ones were mediocre at best.

Playing the daily Wordle has become a popular way to start the day with a fun challenge. Each day, the game will pick a different five-letter word, which players need to guess in up to six tries. The only clues are the letters themselves, changing colors depending on where (or if) they are in the word. Pokémon Go Fest is back for its 2022 edition. This year, the event is split in different parts, one being a global online event on June 4 and 5, while other parts include three in-person events and a special finale event. These will take place throughout the months of July and August. As usual, players will find tons of new content during Pokémon Go Fest, especially the ones who bought tickets to the event.

If you are new to Rocket League, you might have heard the term ‘Alpha’ thrown around in regard to some flashy items or effects. These items are actually some of the rarest in the game.  There are certain items that fall into the Alpha and Beta Reward categories, which means they were only given out to players who helped test early versions of Rocket League. The four items listed as early rewards are a Gold Cap (Topper), Gold Rush (Boost), Goldstone (Wheels), and a Gold Nugget (Antenna).

Apex Legends’ next season is shaking up the weapon meta when it drops tomorrow. With the new season, Saviors, Respawn Entertainment is taking the Spitfire out of the care package and moving it back into ground loot, according to today’s patch notes. The Mastiff will take its place as a crate weapon, and the crafting weapon rotation will also see changes. The Spitfire, which is getting the season 13 battle pass reactive skin, will return to ground loot while toned down compared to its state as a crate drop.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is right around the corner. The upcoming Techland production will arrive on Friday, Feb. 4—and it’s set to premiere on PCs, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X/S, and on Nintendo Switch. With the game being so close to making its debut on many platforms, however, gamers are eager to play it. Similar to the first entry in the franchise, which saw the light of day in 2015, Dying Light 2 Stay Human is an action role-playing survival horror video game, which features an open world in a zombie apocalypse.

There are 21 standard maps in Overwatch covering a broad range of objectives, strategies, and game modes. There are five Assault maps, six Escort Maps, five Hybrid maps, and five Control maps used for both quick and competitive play. In diverse locations based loosely on the real world, like Paris, Havana, and Hollywood, these maps set the scene for Overwatch, offering unique ways to play the game, outplay opponents, and score kills.

There are many ways to get cosmetic items and mounts in Final Fantasy XIV, but some are more limited than others. The Lunar Whale mount is one of the easiest to get, but at a high cost. The majestic whale flies with gracious movements characteristic to the animal, while being mechanical, since it’s Magitek engineering. To top it off, it can carry up to eight players, which is a whole party.

Aiming with a controller has been the main problem of any PC player trying to switch to a console. Though players get used to playing on a controller over time, it’s hard to deny that aiming feels more natural with a mouse and keyboard setup. Even players who are well-versed with a controller in adventure games can prefer having a keyboard and mouse setup when it comes to playing first-person-shooter (FPS) games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
