The Lands Between is a formidable realm not for the faint of heart. Full of strong enemies and even stronger bosses, Elden Ring players are faced with many challenges that may require a change of tactics. Different weapons and spells may be more suitable in specific areas than in others. But with the different stat requirements across the many combat tools at the player’s disposal, how does one use a weapon they don’t have the stats for?

The release of The Witch Queen gave Destiny 2 an overhaul with the Void 3.0 rework, the introduction of glaives, and weapon crafting. As a byproduct of weapon crafting, Bungie added Mementos to the game. This special consumable can be attached to crafted weapons and adds a few cosmetic benefits to a weapon after players reach specific levels with it. The first Memento was available as a random drop after Gambit matches, but throughout Season of the Risen, Bungie gave players two more items to chase, one from Trials of Osiris and another from Grandmaster Nightfalls.

North American League of Legends servers suffered connection issues across the board early in the morning on May 12, with many players experiencing spikes. Players who were in the process of playing on Summoner’s Rift or the Howling Abyss saw their in-game ping spike upwards hundreds of milliseconds at a time.  The server instability appears to be affecting players on North American servers, on both the east and west coasts of the continent.

Pokémon fans can catch a wide variety of Pokémon in Sword and Shield. Many of the creatures found in the franchise’s first region, Kanto, have made their return to the series in the newest title, including Lapras. Lapras is a Water and Ice-type Pokémon known for its elegant look. Although Lapras did not receive a Galarian form or evolution like many of its generation one brethren, the creature got a new Gigantamax form, which causes Lapras to grow a horn and a much larger shell.

Popular content creator and streamer Corinna Kopf has been banned by Twitch only months after her return to the platform. Initially gaining her fame and following on YouTube and notably appearing countless times throughout David Dobrik’s vlog series, Kopf transitioned to streaming back in 2019 and quickly garnered a large following on Twitch. She then signed an exclusive streaming contract with Facebook Gaming while temporarily banned from Twitch. Kopf spent a little more than two years on Facebook and became one of the platform’s most-viewed content creators.

There are two ways to get Pokémon with perfect (or at least better than average) Individual Values (IVs) in Sword and Shield, but they will both take some time investment and luck.  The first option is trying to find some of the glowing Pokémon as you travel across the many zones of the Wild Area. Each of the Pokémon that spawn in the overworld with a glowing aura is going to have at least three perfect IVs no matter what.

Special Research tasks that will let players encounter the Mythical Victini are rolling out now for all Pokémon Go players.  The Investigate a Mysterious Energy Special Research will be live heading into October and give rewards like Pokémon encounters, helpful items, and more.  Most of the tasks are loosely tied to the Fire/Psychic-type Mythical, in that you’ll need to capture Fire and Psychic-types as part of the research, though some later tasks actually directly involve your new Victini.
