Everything you need to know about MSI 2021

The Mid-Season Invitational is back after a year hiatus. But this time, there’s more than just glory on the line for the best teams in League of Legends. On March 30, Riot Games introduced a new format for this year’s event, giving teams more of an incentive to perform on the international stage. The event has often provided fans with a good indication of the strongest region leading up to the World Championship in September.

How to add friends in Call of Duty: Mobile

Call of Duty: Mobile had a monumental launch, performing better than most people expected. The free-to-play first-person shooter racked up over 35 million players in under a week and its numbers continued to rise. There are six game modes in CoD: Mobile, including Team Deathmatch, Free-for-all, Domination, Hardpoint, and Frontline. But by far the most popular is its 100-player battle royale mode, originally popularized by PUBG. Call of Duty is and has always been a social experience, and its mobile counterpart is no different.

How to complete the ‘The Only Oracle for You’ challenge in Destiny 2

The Oracles encounter in Vault of Glass is one of the easiest parts of the raid, even with the weekly challenge. If Destiny 2 players are going after the “The Only Oracle for You” Triumph, though, they have to keep an eye out for their callouts—and keep moving. Normally, players are stationed in a fixed position during the Oracles encounter. To complete the challenge, however, players can’t destroy the same Oracle twice, which leads to a bit of shooting and a lot of moving.

Should you use NVIDIA Reflex?

Nearly every company with its hands in PC gaming hardware is rallying to combat one of the most significant issues in competitive gaming: latency.  Some players may have never looked into their system latency. Others have watched countless videos to tune their settings to drop their system latency to the lowest possible value. Tuning your settings is an effective method of lowering system latency, but Nvidia is taking it a step further with the continued rollout of its Reflex technology.

Valve presents 2022 Service Medal in CS:GO

CS:GO’s developer Valve has revealed more details about this year’s Service Medal. The 2022 Service Medal in CS:GO doesn’t differ much in comparison to the one from previous years. To get it, players must reach Global General in the game, which is level 40. You can do so by playing any mode in CS:GO since you are rewarded with experience points no matter the final score. Every year, CS:GO players are awarded with Service Medals.

Where to find Pichu in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Many Pokémon from previous entries in the Pokémon series call the Hisui region home in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, including some of the most recognizable creatures. Among the Pokémon that players can find is the Pichu line, including both of its evolutions, Pikachu and Raichu. Pichu, the Tiny Mouse Pokémon, debuted in Pokémon Gold and Silver as the pre-evolution to the most famous Pokémon in the series, Pikachu. It’s part of a class known as Baby Pokémon, each requiring players to complete specific tasks to evolve them into their more powerful forms.

Are Legendary and Mythical Pokémon Shiny locked in Pokémon Legends: Arceus?

Shiny hunting is one of the biggest post-game activities for Pokémon fans, but not all methods are viable depending on what game you are playing or when you get around to playing it.  At launch, Pokémon Legends: Arceus won’t be a friendly place for players who were hoping to Shiny hunt Pokémon involved in the game’s story, as every static encounter available at launch is listed as Shiny locked. This means no matter how many times you reset the game before starting the encounter with a Pokémon, if it is scripted to appear in that location or part of the story, it won’t be Shiny—unless the script involves a Pokémon Shiny.

CodeMiko banned on Twitch again

Twitch streamer and VTuber CodeMiko has once again been banned from the streaming platform. No specifics about the ban were shared, as is usually the case with situations like this, but fans have already put together some likely reasons why she was banned from previous streams. In a recent stream, Miko made alterations to her usual VTuber model, removing all clothing outside of her shoes and leaving everything else censored by a blur effect.

How to get bot lobbies in Fortnite

The first few matches of each new Fortnite season tend to be a lot easier than the competitive games you’ve grown used to playing in the previous season. When a new season kicks off, all Fortnite’s player levels get reset and even the most experienced players encounter bots in the first matches. The number of bots you’ll see in your games will decrease since the game can tell you’re getting better, and you’ll start getting in lobbies with almost no bots.
