Riot, Innersloth officially reveal League of Legends, Among Us crossover

Analysis conducted by Jon Peddie of the Jon Peddie computer industry research firm and published in Graphic Speak has narrowed the cause of the GPU shortage to several parties: scalpers, miners, and gougers. While putting the blame on scalpers, miners, and gougers is the easy conclusion, there’s a bit more to it than just naming those parties involved. In his report, Peddie narrows the start of the shortage to a rise in Ethereum value that occurred alongside the pandemic.

In the Half and Half Tavern Brawl, you’ll select a class, then build a deck of 15 cards.

Valkyrae has scrapped her plan to take month-long break from YouTube streaming

Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter has backflipped on plans to miss a month of streaming, revealing on April 20 that she would no longer be taking a “trip out of town” that would have cut a hole right into the middle of her YouTube schedule. Instead, she will be returning to her usual streaming days. “I know some of you are going to be very happy about this,” the 100 Thieves co-owner said.

Who is Vincent in Overwatch’s Bastet short story?

Blizzard introduced a new character in Overwatch’s lore as part of a short story, Bastet, in 2019. Though the majority of the story focused on the relationship between Ana and Soldier: 76, there’s another relationship explored—one between a younger Soldier: 76, then called Jack Morrison, and a man named Vincent. Bastet confirms that Soldier: 76 is Overwatch’s second gay character. (Tracer is the first official queer character, announced a few years ago in an Overwatch digital comic.

Call of Duty’s Warzone Pacific launch trailer hypes up the new Caldera map

Activision has dropped the launch trailer for Call of Duty: Warzone’s Pacific update, featuring everything coming with the new map, Caldera. The trailer is a classic Call of Duty video, featuring loud music, bombastic action scenes, and over-the-top moments that may or may not happen when players drop into the new Warzone map when it launches later this week. The trailer shows several of the Pacific-themed map’s new locations and also highlights the two modes that will be launching with Caldera: Vanguard Royale and Battle Royale.

Selfmade parts ways with Fnatic, Bwipo role swaps to jungle for 2021 LEC Summer Split

After a year and a half in the orange and black, Fnatic is parting ways with Selfmade prior to the 2021 LEC Summer Split. The 21-year-old jungler has been transferred to a new LEC roster, according to Fnatic, although the team hasn’t been specified just yet. Fnatic revealed that Selfmade declined a contract extension offer at the end of this past Spring Split. Due to this decision—and the coaching staff looking to go in a new direction for the jungle role—the last offer the team could make was a substitute position with the main roster.

Broxah to take a break from professional League play, will focus on streaming in 2022

One of the longest-standing players in professional League of Legends history is stepping back this year to demonstrate his talent through full-time streaming. Mads “Broxah” Brock-Pederson—former jungler for teams like Fnatic, Team Liquid, and CLG—announced on his Twitch stream today that he will not be participating in pro play in 2022. Instead, he said his current endeavor is to climb the League ranked ladder through streaming from his home in Denmark.
