In World War II, snipers turned the tide of the battlefield with their ability to pick enemies off from a distance. In Call of Duty: Vanguard, you can do the same with the Type 99. During the second World War, the Type 99 was a sniper rifle used by the Japanese. Certain variations of the gun used a straight bolt and a scope mounted on the left side of the gun to allow for the use of stripper clips for faster reloads.

Just like with every piece of content released for the Pokémon franchise, there are version-exclusive Pokémon that you’ll only encounter in either Sword or Shield while exploring the Isle of Armor.  The list isn’t nearly as extensive as the ones used for the base games, but this does mean you’ll need to find someone to trade with to complete your Isle of Armor Pokédex or grab the other version and a second expansion pass.

The crewmates in Among Us can win in one of two different ways: either they identify and expel all the imposters, or they complete all their assigned tasks. At the start of each Among Us round, every crew member has a certain number of tasks to complete. When all crew members have completed their tasks, the imposters lose. Although crewmates likely won’t have enough time to finish all their tasks before the imposters take them out, that doesn’t mean tasks are useless.

Supercell is dropping a huge event in Clash Royale from Oct. 18 to 26. The Slash Royale event will give players a chance to earn a lot of gold, upgrade cards for reduced costs, and more. Supercell said an event like this has never been seen before in the game’s history. The most exciting part about it is that all card upgrades will cost half of the regular gold price. This is a great opportunity for players to max out their cards.

Just like with most multi-part quests, you will need to track down some important NPCs as you try to complete the story of Pokémon Sword and Shield’s The Crown Tundra expansion. One of these characters is simply known as the Mayor of Freezington, who will be a recurring character helping you and Peony solve your various Legendary Clues.  His main role in the story is helping to weave the Reins of Unity, an item that will help Calyrex combine with one of the two new horse Legendaries, Spectrier or Glastrier—though you will actually need him to be present in Freezington to further your quest.

Lucian is next in line for balance changes. Gearing up for Worlds 2021, Riot is looking to “shift power” away from mid lane Lucian back to bot, according to League of Legends lead game designer Jeevun Sidhu.  The upcoming changes, which are expected to hit the live servers in Patch 11.17 on Aug. 25, target the champion’s base stats, Lightslinger passive, Ardent Blaze (W), and The Culling (R). It’s time to pick up your guitars and get ready to fire up your amps to 11, because Riot Games has finally revealed the new skins for League of Legends’ resident rock band, Pentakill. The developers have also unveiled the newest champion coming to the ranks of the shredding soldiers, with everyone’s favorite Ruined King joining in on the act. Viego has officially joined Pentakill as the group’s newest guitarist. He’ll likely vent out his frustration with recently losing his long-lost love while his guitar gently weeps.

Monster Hunter Rise is no longer exclusive to the Nintendo Switch because it’s finally made its way to PC via Steam. Overall, the game has been spruced up nicely for its PC debut, which is a welcome sight. So, choosing optimal graphics settings is vital for enjoying the game to its fullest. If you’re running Monster Hunter Rise on a lower or medium tier rig, no worries, because Monster Hunter Rise isn’t too demanding—the minimum system requirements require a mere GT 1030 or Radeon RX 550.

New to Magic: The Gathering’s upcoming set Crimson Vow, Cleave is a new alternate cost mechanic that gives players more flexibility with how they use cards. While all cards have a traditional cost associated with them, some cards in Crimson Vow have what is called a “Cleave” cost. This means that a player can pay that cost instead of the card’s traditional cost, making the spell do something slightly different.

From a triple-typing focus down to just one, the Pokémon Go Psychic Spectacular event is starting to roll out.  With this, players will see a drastic increase in the number of Psychic-type Pokémon spawning in the wild, hatching from Eggs, and available to battle in raids.  Not only will certain Pokémon be appearing more often, but Inkay will also be making its Pokémon Go debut during the event, with a similarly strange evolution condition to the one it uses in the main series.
