After five days of furious play at the 2021 League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational’s rumble stage, North America’s representative Cloud9 have officially been eliminated from the tournament after failing to win enough games to stay in the top four. C9 will drop out early despite some of their great performances throughout the tournament. First, the team took a win off of Korea’s DWG KIA while also winning three in a row to finish the group stage.

Fortnite Chapter Two, season six recently added many new skins to the game at the beginning of March—and it looks like Epic Games doesn’t plan on stopping. With April Fools’ Day now in the rear-view mirror and Easter on the horizon, the developer has revamped the in-game shop with thematic cosmetics. The To The Moon bundle features a skin for the famous financial meme “stonks,” which dates back to 2017. The skin is making its debut in Fortnite as Diamond Hanz, one of many names associated with the meme.

MTG Arena will typically automatically update whenever there’s a new patch, but sometimes players experience difficulties that prevent the game from doing so.  Whenever a new patch goes live and you open Arena for the first time, you should see a pop-up in your application that begins to display where you are in the patch download process. This will indicate things are running appropriately, and you won’t need to do anything special to make sure that Arena updates.

TimTheTatman’s computer setup received an overhaul today. The Twitch streamer has joined HyperX as an ambassador. In dramatic fashion, Tim opened his stream asking his viewers if they “noticed anything different” when he turned on his camera. Players’ introduction to the Hisui region in Pokémon Legends: Arceus includes multiple changes to the landscapes and ecosystems that will come to be known as Sinnoh. Among these many changes are increased varieties of Pokémon obtainable within the region, including those that are given as starter Pokémon to new trainers. Unlike in Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, players won’t be given the option of selecting Turtwig, Chimchar, or Piplup as their starter Pokémon in their adventures through Hisui.

The teasers for the next character in Apex Legends just reached the Apex Games. Starting today, players can gather keycards as part of the new legend teaser and get invited to “prove their worth in the Arena” and activate the platform in the Firing Range. Interacting with it, however, requires a small scavenger hunt. The keycards will drop from care packages during matches. Getting them is the first step in the teaser, but it’s definitely not the last.

Custom PC designers Artesian Builds has today announced they will be “suspending all activities,” effective immediately, following online backlash last week. In a post on Twitter, the company explained that there is currently ongoing analysis to reorganize the company so that they can ensure clients, creditors, and employees are all treated fairly. Artesian’s post also notes the company would be open to any outside assistance or investors who are interested in coming on board.

It’s almost Halloween and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War players are in for a treat. With the Haunting event rolling out, players will have access to multiple limited-time game modes like the Scream Deathmatch and Ghosts of Verdansk. There are more than two limited-time game modes, however, and Infected is another one. Combined with the Prop Hunt Halloween game mode, these four limited-time additions will go live on Oct. 19.  Participating in any of these game modes is relatively simple since you’ll only need to navigate to the game’s Multiplayer menu and choose the game mode you’d like to try.

With streaming on Twitch being more popular than ever, many people are looking to go live on the platform who may not have a traditional gaming PC setup to use. Luckily for them, streaming on Twitch from an Apple Mac with iOS is just as simple as streaming from a PC.  The first step to streaming on Twitch will be to find a broadcasting software. Twitch has its own called Twitch Studio that’s available for both PC and Mac that you can use.

Kang “TheShy” Seung-lok has left Invictus Gaming after over four years. The South Korean top laner’s contract with IG expired in mid-November, but he said back then that he was “actively renegotiating” with the organization. The two officially parted ways today, however, when IG posted on Weibo wishing TheShy well on his journeys ahead.
