Captain Gameplay, a game designer for League of Legends, has shared some experimental Pyke changes that are set to come to the PBE servers shortly. They aim to modify his ultimate by a considerable margin. The unofficial start to Benjamin “DrLupo” Lupo’s charity drives on Twitch began with a $100 wager with a trash-talker. A viewer thought they could beat him in a Trials of Osiris run on Destiny. DrLupo knew he could beat him, but he couldn’t keep the money. “I thought to myself, ‘I’m going to whoop this kid if he even shows up, but there’s no way I’m going to keep the money because I feel like it’s dirty, so I’m going to give it to charity,’” said DrLupo.

On Saturday, Feb. 19, the League of Legends community was left in shock after Cloud9 surprisingly parted ways with Nick “LS” De Cesare, the team’s head coach. The American had been behind the wheel of the squad since Dec. 1, 2021. And, despite being a part of the roster for such a short amount of time, fans of the LCS had already seen his influence on the team’s playstyle. Neither C9 nor LS underlined the reasons behind the sudden departure.

Most network problems, however, often appear due to server-related issues, which can only be solved by the developers. In Dying Light 2, the “Network Disconnected” error usually appears for players trying to play co-op. Fortnite’s Creative mode has allowed players to build a variety of impressive maps for different custom modes such as Murder Mystery. The Murder Mystery mode chooses one player from the lobby to be the killer, who is tasked with eliminating all other players before they are located and taken out by the designated sheriff. The remaining players are innocents who need to survive until the sheriff can take out the killer.

Pokémon Go is getting a new look at fashion with the introduction of the Poodle Pokémon Furfrou.  The Normal-type will be making its first appearance during the annual Fashion Week event, which will run from Sept. 21 to 28. This will also bring in a majority of Furfrou’s different Trims, or forms that don’t change anything beyond how the Pokémon looks.  In total, Furfrou has 10 different Trims, though only nine will be available right away when the Pokémon makes its debut.

When the COVID-19 pandemic began in early 2020, a game made two years prior surprisingly came into the spotlight. That’s right, we’re talking about Among Us.  When everyone was disconnected and couldn’t see their friends, many players dove into InnerSloth’s production. Among Us was elevated even more thanks to Twitch and YouTube content creators jumping into the game.  Contrary to many other small studios, InnerSloth didn’t give up on their title in its initial stages, leading to an eventual surge in players.

Longtime League of Legends analyst and coach Joshua “Jatt” Leesman will return to the LCS analyst desk for the 2022 season, the league confirmed today.  Jatt, a former shoutcaster and on-air analyst, spent portions of the 2020 and 2021 LCS seasons as the head coach for Team Liquid before resigning from his position with the organization ahead of last year’s Summer Split. Prior to his stint as a coach, Jatt had spent time as a game developer for League of Legends, as well as a broadcaster for the LCS.
