As with every Pokémon game to come before them, Sword and Shield are going to have specific things unique to each version. Some of those features are probably going to be minimal, but some people always prefer one version-exclusive Pokémon or a legendary over the other. We now have all of the information about exactly what Sword will have that Shield won’t, and vice versa. Here’s a list of exclusive content for each version to give you an idea of what you might be getting into with each game.

In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, a lot of Pokémon require a high level of friendship in order to evolve. Because some other methods of evolution were ousted in the newest iteration of the Pokémon franchise, they’ve been replaced by the friendship level method. Kubfu is going to be the main focus of a lot of teams moving forward, both in the competitive tests and casual play in the Pokémon Sword and Shield’s Isle of Armor expansion. But you’ll want to make sure you get your Kubfu and Urshifu trained properly the first time because it’ll be hard to redo their stats.  Since both Kubfu and Urshifu are Legendary Pokémon, you won’t be able to breed either part of the evolutionary line, even when using Ditto.

After officially entering the MMO space earlier this week, Team Liquid has introduced its World of Warcraft PvP lineup. The lineup, which consists of proven WoW players such as Cdew, Samiyam, Trill, and Mes, will compete in retail WoW arena matches beginning this season.  Liquid announced on Jan. 22 that it acquired top WoW guild Limit by way of a merger. The Limit organization, which included a roster of over 40 players, coaches, and staff members, dropped its former branding to compete in World of Warcraft events under the Liquid umbrella.

Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen, a top-10 CS:GO in-game leader, will be responsible for guiding G2 this year after spending the past two years of his career on OG. The Finnish tactician will work with the cousins Nikola “NiKo” Kovač and Nemanja “huNter-” Kovač, plus the young star Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov, who joined G2 earlier this year following impressive showings with Natus Vincere’s academy team in 2021. Rounding out the roster is the rifler Audric “JACKZ” Jug and new head coach Rémy “XTQZZZ” Quoniam.

Destiny 2 doesn’t adhere strictly to the established tank, healer, and DPS roles, but that doesn’t mean Titans are squishy or weak. After one of their most controversial splits in their history in the LCS, Cloud9 opted to say goodbye to Isles, Winsome, and recently crowned Spring Split MVP Summit heading into Summer. These three players have yet to announce where they will be headed following their time as part of C9, with both Isles and Summit having their residency in the United States at stake. Jack Etienne, founder and CEO of C9, revealed today the team offered these three players to all other LCS teams for $0 buyout.
