A new VALORANT agent is coming soon and fans recently received a small preview of what’s to come in a State of the Agents post. Leaks have also revealed small details about the new character, showing glimpses of what their abilities could involve.  The latest State of the Agents blog post gave fans their first official look at the upcoming agent and provided hints at their ability set. The new agent is an initiator that will provide players with an “intimate feeling when hunting down enemies.

One might think Yanma would be easier to find in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl since it is one of several Pokémon that received a new evolution in the original fourth generation titles. However, the remakes have locked the poor Bug/Flying-type in the post-game for some inexplicable reason.  Essentially, if you wanted to use Yanma on your main team while working to become the Champion of Sinnoh, you are out of luck unless you trade with someone to get it earlier than it is naturally available.

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl continue the tradition of version-exclusive Pokémon that has been associated with the series since the beginning. All of the version-exclusive Pokémon from the original Pokémon Diamond and Pearl titles return in these remakes, including the Darkness Pokémon, Murkrow. Players of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond are able to find Murkrow in their game, while those who have Pokémon Shining Pearl can find its counterpart, Misdreavus. If players want to add this Dark and Flying-type Pokémon to their team, they can do so as early as Eterna Forest.

Gyms are one of the most recognizable aspects of the Pokémon series. In traditional main-series Pokémon games, gyms and their accompanying gym leaders act as bosses, gating players’ progression. In other words, players can’t progress in the game and its story unless they defeat the gym leader. Gym battles have been some of the hardest battles in the Pokémon series. Until now, the only mainline Pokémon games to ditch gym battles were Pokémon Sun and Moon.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus received a new, free update that is already live for all players and with it, Game Freak added a few new mechanics that play into each other.  Legends: Arceus Daybreak is a mostly minor gameplay update that specifically adds post-game content, such as a handful of new challenges, quests, and Massive Mass Outbreaks. And, to coincide with the inclusion of Massive Mass Outbreaks as a new encounter mechanic, the Aguav Berry has also been added.

One of the main attractions within The Crown Tundra expansion for Pokémon Sword and Shield is chasing down, battling, and capturing the Galarian forms of Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. But a lot of trainers are going to be sad to hear that all three of the new variants of the Kantonian legendary trio are actually shiny locked.  Being shiny locked means that no matter how many times you restart your game and encounter them, Galarian Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres will never appear in their shiny variants.
