As an added bonus for Street Fighter V’s fifth season of DLC, Capcom has made Eleven playable as an additional character, independent of the five fighters available as part of the season’s content.  He was made available at the same time as Dan Hibiki and the major update to the game that added in V-Shift, a new defensive option that allows players to back dash and temporarily become invincible to almost any attack at the cost of using one bar of the V-Gauge.

Two of VALORANT’s most contentious agents are set to receive nerfs in Patch 3.06. Jett and Skye, staples of solo queue and pro play, are getting hit by the nerf hammer in today’s update.  Riot is knuckling down on Jett’s ultimate and giving her one less smoke to work with. The devs are removing the recharge on Bladestorm’s right-click so players will “optimize for the single kunai kills in order to keep the Bladestorm going” and play into the  “high precision fantasy Jett is all about.

Cycles are a core part of Magic: The Gathering set design. Cycles are different colored cards with similar effects around a specific theme. In the most recent set, Innistrad: Midnight Hunt, the Mythic Rare adversary cycle is an example of a cycle. Each card has a similar enter-the-battlefield ability that changes based on the color’s identity. Usually, sets are started and completed in the same set or block. There are some cycles that are started and finished in the span of several years.

Game developer and streamer Blaustoise has announced his decision to become a free agent heading into 2021, ending his five-year employment at Riot Games. Blaustoise shared a statement in a post thanking his friends and colleagues at the company and the communities around the game titles he has worked on. Pokémon Sword and Shield feature a new region and a new Pokédex, meaning there’s a slew of new and rare Pokémon for fans to add to their teams. One of the many new creatures is Toxel, a purple dinosaur-like species that features a unique typing: Electric and Poison. Toxel can be found in the wild, but there’s an additional way to obtain the Pokémon, and it’s easy for those who’ve reached a certain point in the game.

Last seen in Teamfight Tactics Set 4.5, Tryndamere has returned to 6.5 Neon Nights with his Spinning Slash spell, disrupting backline carriers while paving the path toward a top-four finish.  Tryndamere in TFT Set 6.5 has the traits Chemtech and Challenger, providing multiple builds for the four-cost carry to shine in. Challenger synergy provides bonus attack speed while Chemtech synergy also provides attack speed with the addition of damage reduction and health regeneration.

Call of Duty is one of the most iconic shooter franchises in gaming history and it finally became available on mobile devices in 2019. The anticipation was rightfully high and players expected the same level of quality that CoD featured every year on other platforms. TiMi Studio certainly delivered when it comes to quality and CoD: Mobile has turned out to be a success even though it entered the market later than its competitors. While CoD players won’t have a hard time adjusting to the mechanics, newer players may find it difficult to get up speed with all the lingo and various aspects of the game.

Final Fantasy XIV‘s upcoming expansion Endwalker has brought everything the fans could dream of, from a thrilling story to high-end duties and new housing. But some hardcore players have wondered if they could also expect to see a new deep dungeon, since the last one was released alongside Stormblood, meaning Shadowbringers didn’t include one. Fortunately, the developer has revealed it would release a new deep dungeon with Endwalker. The deep dungeons are unique instances where the players have a separate level and have an old-school dungeon experience with roguelite elements.
