Introduced in the third generation of games, Pokémon Natures helped add an additional value to give your Pokémon defining characteristics, more of a personality, and even a competitive edge in battle.  Natures are a randomized aspect of every Pokémon that has been generated since the feature was added in Ruby and Sapphire. They determine how a Pokémon’s stats grow, typically giving more emphasis to one of the five, non-HP statistical values, while taking away the emphasis on another.

A total of 24Teamfight Tactics seasoned tournament players and ladder grinders competed over the course of three days to earn an invitation to the Gizmos & Gadgets World Championship.  For the first time in the history of TFT Worlds, North American players competed at the NA Regional Finals for a total of four slots at the Gizmos & Gadgets World Championship, along with the possibility of qualifying to compete at the Last Chance Gauntlet for another two invites.

The Gible line has long been one of the most popular evolutionary lines in the Pokémon series. The inclusion of the final evolution, Garchomp, as Champion Cynthia’s partner in the Sinnoh region only helped its popularity. These Pokémon are taking over Unite Battles in Pokémon UNITE and have quickly risen to the top of the meta. Gible, Gabite, and Garchomp enter UNITE as All-Rounders, meaning they don’t excel in any single stat.

A rework to the Magic: The Gathering mechanic Transform within Innistrad: Midnight Hunt has brought about Daybound and Nightbound.  Scheduled to release globally on Sept. 24, Innistrad Midnight Hunt (MID) will showcase a battle between day and night. Utilizing the mechanics Daybound and Nightbound, double-faced cards will transform back and forth. The new MID mechanic applies to all players during a game, meaning any player on their turn can control whether it is day or night.

Shortly after its release at the beginning of August, Fall Guys became one of the hottest games of the summer—and its popularity has grown dramatically on all of the platforms that it’s available on. The game sold over seven million copies on Steam in just under 30 days and became the most downloaded PS Plus game of all time. The developer also recently shared its plans for the second season of Fall Guys, which aims to introduce fantasy, medieval skins and thematic maps to the game.

Peeker’s advantage is clearly something Riot took into consideration when developing VALORANT. But eliminating it for good is one tall task. Riot released a competitive ruling earlier this week that fined 100 Thieves $5,000 for delaying their VCT NA Masters match against Immortals. The team disagreed with the server that tournament officials selected, believing it would give their opponents lower ping and an unfair edge. Though they eventually played the match out and won, the dispute sparked a community conversation regarding the relationship between ping and peeker’s advantage.
