Infinity Ward has added a new master camo to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and it’s sure to make fans of the color black happy. The Obsidian master camo is now in the game, offering a sleek black aesthetic as the name implies. Fair warning, though: These might be the most time-consuming camos to earn yet. Rocket League went free-to-play on Sept. 24, and with that massive update came some equally massive changes to how players can play the game.  Along with cross-progression between platforms and a single set of dates for the game’s Competitive Seasons, Competitive Tournaments, and the Rocket Pass, the game was also removed from the Steam Store.  That doesn’t mean the game has been completely removed from Steam, just that new players who want to get the game won’t be able to do so through that specific platform.

Riot Games has slowly transitioned all players from League of Legends accounts to Riot accounts over the last year to cater to the developer’s growing catalog of games. VALORANT, like League and Legends of Runeterra, no longer has a region selector on the login screen, meaning once you’ve chosen a server, you’re locked to it. If you created a VALORANT account in North America, you’ll automatically be assigned to the North American region, preventing you from playing with your friends elsewhere.

The release of a product featuring Ghost Rare cards is always something Yu-Gi-Oh! fans, especially collectors, look forward too. However, the initial release of the 2021 Ghosts From the Past set was criticized for a lack of depth in its card choices, only containing three packs, and the extremely low probability of actually pulling Ghost Rares.  To try and course correct for its next release, Konami has announced the 2022 Ghosts From the Past.

Epic Games has never been scared to add new mechanics or change core elements of Fortnite in the game’s updates over the years, and with the launch of Chapter Three, season two, building has been completely removed. Given that building is one of Fortnite’s defining gameplay mechanics and helps separate it from other titles in the battle royale genre, this seems to be a temporary change. Until it returns, however, players will be forced to play Fortnite in a way that has previously never been seen.

Another month, another installment of everyone’s favorite Minecraft competitive event. The Minecraft Championship (MCC) 17 brought together another 40 popular streamers for a chance at winning the crown. Over the course of two hours, 10 teams of four players competed over eight events to try and take home the rare season two MCC winners coin, a prize that was only within reach of a small percentage of players. In Rainbow Six Extraction, each of the 18 operators have their own unique weapon loadout consisting of a primary weapon and a sidearm. As players progress with each operator, they will unlock different weapon selections including assault rifles, SMGs, shotguns, large machine guns, and more. Each weapon has customizable attachments, letting you switch out the sights, the barrel, and/or the grip. There isn’t a massive amount of attachment options, but we’ve still found the best choices available.

The launch of Apex Legends‘ new season, Escape, will come with a host of balance changes, including big Wattson buffs, nerfs to the EVA-8 and the L-Star, and adjustments to crafting. Wattson, the Apex Games’ Static Defender, is receiving widespread adjustments to her kit. The biggest change is to her tactical ability, Perimeter Security. The ability allows Wattson to place electrical fences that slow and damage enemies when they pass through.
