An update to Magic: The Gathering Arena via Patch 2022.16 marked the release of the Alchemy: New Capenna expansion, along with cosmetic and gameplay updates.  A total of 30 new digital-only cards were released via Patch 2022.16 on June 2 as the third Alchemy expansion to get added to MTG Arena since the launch of the format. Two events marked the launch of the Alchemy: New Capenna expansion, along with a code for three free booster packs.

The upcoming Magic: The Gathering release of Innistrad: Alchemy A22 will include a five-mana Tiblat planeswalker card, hellbent on supporting Mono-Red and devils that like to burn it all down.  Scheduled to release on Dec. 9, Innistrad: Alchemy A22 will include a total of 63 new MTG Arena digital-only cards. The new supplemental set also drops with the launch of the Alchemy format and will include Tibalt, Wicked Tormentor. The infamous planeswalker known for causing trouble is a Mono-Red five drop, revealed today by Stephen “Crokeyz” Croke on Twitter.

In 2016, several major YouTubers were found to be in connection with the then-popular CS:GO gambling website, CS:GOLotto. The site first came under fire for allegedly running a supposedly illegal gambling company and allowing minors to partake. Historic is getting an influx of new cards from Modern Horizons and Modern Horizons 2 alongside 31 digital-only cards in Magic Arena‘s upcoming set, Jumpstart: Historic Horizons. Historic Horizons spoiler season began today and runs through Aug. 3 with the set releasing on Aug. 12. The set contains over 700 cards with 200 being new to Historic. The first Jumpstart in 2020 had a major impact on Historic bringing in several format defining cards like Muxus, Goblin Grandee.
