League of Legends is now over 10 years old after being released in early 2009. With more than 150 champions in the game, some of the MOBA’s oldest champions are a bit tired and run down, both in terms of graphics and gameplay.  The most recent champion reworks—including Fiddlesticks, Volibear, and Mundo—have been VGUs instead of simple visual updates. VGUs differ from regular visual updates in that they change the skill kits of the reworked champion, or even just one of the abilities.

OG is slowly seeing the petals from its previously sturdy flower fall away. Topson announced today that he’ll be stepping away from competitive Dota 2 to focus on and spend time with his family—at least for the next season.  This news comes just one day after Ceb announced his retirement and leaves OG with only its captain and co-founder n0tail on the team’s active roster ahead of the upcoming Dota Pro Circuit.

Call of Duty: Mobile’s first season of 2022—Heist—is underway. Every year, Activision refreshes the seasonal count in the mobile game, reverting to “season one.” The new season has deployed a lot of new content to CoD: Mobile. This includes the Hacienda map from Black Ops 4, the tactical equipment Storm Ball, and two new weapons—the Kilo 141 and the PPSh-41. The season is also marking the Lunar New Year with Activision, bringing the Nuketown Temple map and Red Envelope confirmed mode to mark the occasion.

During this morning’s Xbox and Bethesda Games Conference, Riot Games revealed that many of their titles will be joining Game Pass on both PC and mobile devices. Players in various games will earn rewards that are otherwise difficult to obtain simply for playing the titles through Game Pass. Joe Hixson, director of corporate communications at Riot Games, revealed that all content earned in these accounts with Game Pass, such as skins, will remain after the subscription ends, while the bonus content through Game Pass will be removed from players’ accounts.

Apex Legends’ next season, Defiance, is launching tomorrow and Respawn has released a closer look at the battle pass that players will be able to purchase. Featuring Loba’s first battle pass Legendary skin, matching holo-sprays, and a dieselpunk-inspired reactive skin for the Hemlok assault rifle, the rewards blend the rebellious attitude of Defiance with celebratory nods to Apex’s third anniversary. The Hemlok will be getting its first reactive Legendary skin at tier 100 of the Defiance battle pass.

Singer, songwriter, and producer Derivakat has released a song centered around Dream’s hit series Minecraft Manhunt. The song follows Dream’s perspective in the series as he attempts to beat the game by killing the ender dragon before any of the hunters kill him. Derivakat is a talented song creator and fan who regularly makes songs relating to Minecraft. “Manhunt” was made in collaboration with Yuki, who helped with the melody, lyrics, and arrangement, and Cartian, who helped with production, guitars, drums, mix, and master.

Danny, who enters his first League of Legends international event as the esteemed ADC from the LCS’ Evil Geniuses, hit the milestone with a near 74-percent win rate—and with his support, Vulcan, unsurprisingly coming in right behind him. Danny’s account has reached this rank after only 34 games, likely due to the elo of each Riot-given account starting higher than normal.
