In Elden Ring, FromSoftware decided to make consumable items more accessible to players when compared to previous titles. The crafting system new to Elden Ring offers players the opportunity to gather and use the unique items they find around the Lands Between. A new Max Raid event is rolling into Pokémon Sword and Shield‘s Wild Area today with spooky Pokémon to scare you over the Halloween weekend. Trainers will be able to catch a shiny Gourgeist, including two other versions of the Pokémon: Small Size and Super Size. The event starts today, Oct. 30, and goes until Sunday, Nov. 1. It will feature a total of seven different Pokémon. Trainers will have a chance to encounter Yamask, Mimikyu, Trevenant, Polteagesit, Pumpkaboo, Cofagrigus, and Gourgeist.

From a first-round loss to a fifth Major title for the organization, OG fought through nearly every top team to win the 2022 Dota Pro Circuit Stockholm Major with a 3-1 victory over TSM today.  Not only did they have to run the lower bracket gauntlet after losing to TSM at the start of the playoffs, but they also had to overcome a big game one loss in the grand finals to set up their eventual reverse sweep.

Respawn Entertainment released an update for Apex Legends today that addressed several issues in the game, including a bug that affected Bloodhound’s new Prestige skin and a penalty for players who leave Control mode matches early. Last week, Bloodhound’s new Prestige skin was bugged, making it impossible for some players to log the kills necessary to make progress toward unlocking the second and third tiers of the cool, but expensive new outfit for the Technological Tracker.

The next Pokémon TCG set Fusion Strike is set to release on Nov. 12 in the West, but Japanese players have already started getting their hands on the original version, Fusion Arts.  Fusion Arts will be available in Japan starting on Sept. 24, and thanks to some early products hitting the shelves, everyone is getting a look at the Secret Rare cards that are included in the set.  The chase cards for this set mostly revolve around Mew, Hoopa, and Genesect, which are all featured as Secret Rare cards and include the new Fusion Strike Style battle style.
