Wireless peripherals used to be miles behind their wired rivals when it came to competitive gaming. Wireless solutions were plagued by battery issues, and gamers always feared running out of power in an intense situation. Wireless technology is clearly the dark horse, however—it’s come a long way in the past decade. The batteries last for months, wireless mice are just as responsive as the wired ones, and keyboards have become more robust.

Even though it’s technically only a one-day event, Pokémon Go Tour: Kanto has added more content than most other events in the game have had over the last several months.  To celebrate Pokémon’s 25th anniversary, players will have access to new Special, Timed, and event-exclusive research if they buy a ticket for the Kanto Tour.  The “Go Tour Kanto: Defeat All Challengers” Timed Research will give players access to several rare items, like a Sinnoh Stone, TMs, and a Premium Battle Pass.

Fortnite’s building element makes the battle royale one of the unique titles in the genre, but without a good aim, it may be almost impossible to get a victory royale. There are all types of weapons in Fortnite, and each shines in different scenarios. Miniguns, drum guns, and RPGs are great at destroying buildings, while shotguns and submachine guns are the way to go for close-range fights. For anything longer than medium range usage, though, sniper rifles still reign supreme and allow players to land deadlier shots than a regular assault rifle.

Chatbot commands are one of the powerful tools that streamers and chat moderators can use to help inform viewers without forcing a content creator to repeat themselves over and over. By using Streamlabs chatbot commands, streamers can set up a key phase that starts with an exclamation point and it will immediately be followed by an automated response, typically answering a specific question that a viewer has.  Oftentimes, those commands are personal to the content creator, answering questions about the streamer’s setup or the progress that they’ve made in a specific game.

A number of popular Perks in Warzone just received some big changes in a new update for the Call of Duty battle royale, devs Raven Software revealed today. Scavenger, Restock, E.O.D., Quick Fix, and (likely to be the most popular among many players) Ghost have all been changed in a variety of ways in an amendment to the Season Two Reloaded patch notes, released in-game immediately. The biggest change, for Ghost, is the stealth effect that prevents players from appearing on mini-map radar whenever a UAV is active will now only apply if the player is moving.

FIFA 22 officially releases on Oct. 1, but if you order the game’s Ultimate Edition or have EA Play you might be able to get into the game earlier than your friends. By pre-ordering the standard version of FIFA 22, you will gain access to the game on Oct. 1. But the Ultimate Edition allows you to enter the game four days early. If you buy the Ultimate Edition of FIFA 22, you will be able to get into the game beginning Sept.

Pokémon Sword and Shield finally gave players the option to skip movie cutscenes and even some of the most annoying bits of dialogue in the game, which saves a lot of time for people playing through for the second time.  This is an all-or-nothing option that will disable all of the cutscenes for the entire game, however. So if you want to save time, you can’t cherry-pick which cutscenes to skip once you make the choice.

Minecraft has officially announced the release date for its highly anticipated next patch Caves & Cliffs Update: Part II, which will be coming Nov. 30. With its first part dropping on Nov. 8, Caves & Cliffs Update: Part II has been highly anticipated by players as it will bring updates to terrain and a few new features to the game.
