Jonas Mello, the Brazilian voice actor for League of Legends champions Braum and Xerath, died yesterday at the age of 83, according to Brazillian news portal Noticias Da Tv. Mello’s body was found in his apartment in São Paulo on Nov. 18. In addition to lending his voice to Riot’s hit MOBA, the Brazilian actor voiced over Saruman in The Lord of the Rings and Joe Swanson from Family Guy in their Portuguese adaptations.

Moist Esports, the organization founded and run by Cr1TiKaL and his team, teased that it’d be expanding its roster on May 5.  Fans speculated that this could mean anything from adding another player from the fighting game community (FGC) to its lineup to entering a new scene entirely. Canadian esports organization Northern Gaming, co-owned by popular streamer Chance “Sodapoppin” Morris, has been acquired by NRG Esports. Mack Marin, Northern Gaming’s founder and co-owner, announced that all of the organization’s assets will move over to NRG—including player and streamer contracts. Sodapoppin joins NRG’s ownership group, and now sits alongside Sacramento Kings owners Andy Miller and Mark Mastrov,Shaquille O’Neill and baseball players Alex Rodriguez, Jimmy Rollins, and Ryan Howard. Marin is joining NRG as the Assistant General Manager of Gaming.
