There’s now an easy way to find your mouse cursor in Windows 10 and 11, and it doesn’t involve waving the mouse around to find it.  The technology to find a mouse cursor isn’t new, and Windows 10 quietly added it as a built-in feature. All you needed to do was tick the “Show location of pointer when I press the CTRL key” under the Pointer Options in the Additional mouse options tab.

The next installment in WoW: Classic, the Season of Mastery, is coming to servers on Nov. 16, Blizzard Entertainment announced today.  Season of Mastery gives WoW: Classic players a chance to start fresh and experience the game in a new setting. Players will be able to start the game over from level one again and the WoW: Classic team will be rolling out the game’s original content over six phases over the span of the next year.

A Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War player recently ran into a cheater who wasn’t worried about being caught since they claimed no one is checking the in-game reports.  Hackers and cheaters in Cold War and Warzone are significant issues impacting the community. Thousands of players have had their experience ruined by a hacker and more seem to appear daily.  A player recently encountered a cheater in multiplayer who wasn’t afraid to admit that they were hacking.

Two League of Legends champions made their presence felt by appearing in every single game in some capacity at this year’s MSI—even if it was by banning them from play. Each team in the tournament recognized the sheer power of these champions and their ability to completely turn the outcome of any game, very rarely letting them step onto the Rift. In all 77 games of MSI, both Ahri and Lucian appeared in the pick/ban phase 100-percent of the time.

MC Championship 11 is set to take place on Oct. 24. Ten slightly altered teams of content creators and streamers will compete in a set of Minecraft mini-games in front of hundreds of thousands of viewers.  The last event was pretty close, coming down to FalseSymmetry winning it all with an incredible Ace in Dodgebolt with the Orange Ocelots. A new League of Legends feature hit the Shop this week, allowing fans to track their stats with Eternals—and once again, the community is divided. Eternals debuted with Patch 10.5, allowing players to flex on opponents with in-game achievements for things like Bicycle Kicks on Lee Sin or Fatal Flirtations with Ahri. While it’s fun to have a stat tracker that records your plays, having a price tag on a feature that many feel should be free is causing quite the stir.

FunPlus Phoenix jungler Zhou “Bo” Yang-Bo has been banned from competing in League of Legends for four months after being found guilty of match-fixing, the LPL announced today. In March, the 19-year-old was suspended after reports indicated he was “coerced” into “participating in inappropriate behavior” during the 2020 LDL season when he played for eStar Young in the academy league in China.  In an effort to prevent match-fixing, the League disciplinary management committee has conducted an “in-depth investigation” of all players, coaches, and management personnel of the 43 teams in the LPL and LDL and has come to a conclusion.

In this week’s League of Legends patch, the developers are looking back and assessing changes made earlier in the season. This includes hitting jungle Morgana with the nerf hammer—a champion that has been running rampant in solo queue and competitive play over the course of the last month—and giving some much-needed love to Ryze, who’s left much to be desired since the Rift’s item shake-up in the preseason. Senna and Frostfire Gauntlet, along with Master Yi and Duskblade, are also in line for adjustments in Patch 11.
