After a 113-day hiatus from his channels, popular Twitch streamer Daequan has finally spoken up about the recent breakdown of the NRG Thoom House. In a recent update, Daequan said the house’s internet issues were largely the cause of the house’s eventual failure. “We go to this house and they tell NRG and us that the internet is nuts, that this is a smart house, whatever,” the 27-year-old streamer said. “And long story short, when we get there, it’s not that.

Popular streamer Disguised Toast announced he has left Facebook Gaming after streaming on the platform for the past two years. In a tweet, the longtime streamer shared that today marks his final day on Facebook Gaming after singing with the platform in November 2019. “The last 2 years have been some of the best moments of my career and I wish them [Facebook Gaming] nothing but success,” Toast wrote. “Can’t wait to see them achieve greater things in the future.

Halloween is coming to Apex Legends and it’s bringing another one of Revenant’s machinations. This year’s Fight or Fright event features a new limited-time mode called “Shadow Royale,” a unique game mode where death is just the beginning of the fight. When a player dies, they return in a terrifying shadow form, complete with extra mobility and devastating melee attacks. Legends will remain as shadows as long as one of the members of the squad is still alive.

The Sims 4’s new stuff pack, Laundry Day, released Jan. 16 for PX and Mac players. You can now subject your sims to the most tedious of chores—doing their laundry. While that may not sound very fun, it’s something lots of The Sims 4 players wanted to return to the game. (It was last part of The Sims 3.) The good news is that doing laundry is a lot less time-consuming than it is in real-life—and if you don’t want to deal with it, just don’t put Laundry Day items on your lot.

Poipole is one of the Ultra Beasts that’s making a comeback in Pokémon Sword and Shield‘s Crown Tundra expansion. You won’t encounter this Pokémon in the wild like you normally would, though. Ultra Beasts can only be unlocked after you’ve completed the main story and the legendary clues. They appear at random during the Dynamax Adventure in the Max Lair, but Poipole is a little different. While the other 10 known Ultra Beasts have a chance of appearing in the Max Lair, Poipole is a static Gift.

Sixteen of the best CS:GO teams in the world have traveled to Stockholm, Sweden to compete at IEM Winter, a $250,000 LAN tournament. This is one of the last premier Counter-Strike tournaments of the year and comes after two thrilling events, PGL Stockholm Major and BLAST Premier Fall Final, which were held in front of a live audience. IEM Winter, though, is being played in a studio environment, so there’s no crowd.

The new year is almost here, and Krafton has released the first look of a new map coming to PUBG: New State in 2022. In a Happy New Year message, the developer revealed that it was working on a new battleground that will launch in mid-2022.
