Though crossplay used to be a feature reserved for only a few games, it’s getting more popular by the day. Fortnite, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, and Rocket League are the prime examples that feature crossplay. Not only is crossplay useful for playing with friends playing from different devices than yours, but it’s also a nice-to-have feature if you frequently swap between a console and your gaming PC. It’s been one of the more demanded features for Rainbow Six Siege as well, but there has been little to no progress regarding the matter for a couple of years now.

A lot went down in Verdansk over the last 24 hours. As players headed toward the third Warzone season, the zombie threat on the map became too large to deal with. A nuke was used to cleanse Verdansk and the modern-day Verdansk was replaced with a 1984 version. On top of getting to experience a new version of Verdansk, there’s a limited-time event that will make the release of the third season a blast to play through.

The Minecraft Championships (MCC) are now officially back on a regular schedule with MCC 21 set to run in April. MCC 21 will run toward the end of the month on April 30, Noxcrew announced today. Noxcrew previously returned from a hiatus to run MCC 20 on March 26. MCC 21 will be the second event of the second half of this season of MCC. The official MCC Twitter account shared a short video of various past MCC players in the Decision Dome to highlight this announcement.

Popular YouTuber MrBeast revealed his recent Feastables giveaway resulted in $1.3 million of free chocolate being given to fans. MrBeast is best known for his extravagant YouTube videos where he gives thousands of dollars to fans and charity, but he has also expanded into other verticals. He created a chain of restaurants called MrBeast Burger and he most recently started his own line of chocolate called Feastables. There are currently four different types of chocolate available on the website and fans can buy variety packs and bundles to experience all of the options.

Kassadin is one League of Legends’ oldest champions. He’s gone through different kit iterations over the years after being a pick-or-ban champion in the game’s first few seasons. While he’s fallen out of the meta due to various nerfs, he always found a way to claw back with new builds and playstyles. Although the recent item rework weakened Kassadin, players across the world are already finding new ways to play the Void Walker.

Twitch is testing major changes to its mature content tag, according to a report by Zach Bussey. These changes have not been confirmed by Twitch, although if they are approved, it could allow the platform’s broadcasters to stream potentially sexually suggestive content without consequence if they abide by the pending guidelines. Twitch has long had a mature tag that gates off certain streams by age. This mature tag, in its current state, is entirely optional, unenforced, and used by relatively few streamers.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is officially free to download in the Steam Store. Valve announced in a small game update several days ago that CS:GO will be downloaded for free, ahead of the 13th Major in the game’s history, FACEIT London. Now it’s finally available for download in the Steam client. To download the game, go to the CS:GO page in the Steam Store, and scroll down to where it says “Play Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Free Edition.

The VALORANT Champions Tour Masters Berlin tournament has concluded, and a new team holds the crown. Gambit Esports swept Envy in the Grand Finals today, earning the $225,000 prize and establishing themselves as the best team in the world. See Valorant on Amazon Gambit Esports secured the second seed in Group C after defeating Crazy Raccoon twice, while Envy took down Vivo Keyd and KRU Esports in Group B. Envy ran through their North American compatriots Sentinels and 100 Thieves without dropping a map, earning their spot in the grand finals.

Hate raids have once again propagated across Twitch. But this time, viewers from an entirely different platform are targeting LGBTQIA+ streamers on Twitch. Streamers such as EarthToBre, Blizzb3ar, and xProvexx were all among the first to report on hate raids stemming from Cozy.tv. Users descending on Twitch reportedly spammed Twitch chatrooms, Discord servers, and flooded creators’ DMs with hateful, homophobic messages. EarthToBre said that users on Cozy.tv encouraging these hate raids also restreamed targeted streamers’ broadcasts while mocking them.
