Altoar isn’t one of the most-watched content creators on Twitch. But as the creator of one of its more popularly used extensions, Sound Alerts, the creator’s channel is among the highest-paid on the platform. While his channel only has 269 followers and no notable viewership, it’s purportedly eighth among all channels on the platform in terms of payout over the past 26 months. From August 2019 to October 2021, Altoar was paid $3,053,839, according to data leaked from Twitch last week.

The latest title to join the Call of Duty franchise, Black Ops Cold War, released on Nov. 13. Considering the game became available alongside the next-gen consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, its crossplay support became even more vital. Not all players ditched their old consoles for the new ones during the release period, and the transition titles usually release a client for the older generation of consoles as well.

There are over 400 Pokémon to collect in Sword and Shield, but only a few of them can be found in their shiny variants. Unlike the Let’s Go series, shiny Pokémon won’t appear in the overworld and you won’t know if you can catch one until you go into battle. There also isn’t an SOS chain like in Ultra Sun and Moon to rely on. Like Let’s Go, however, there does appear to be some form of shiny chaining—but not as we expected.

Fortnite released the v19.20 update today, introducing a new location for players to explore. IO finally arrived on the island, with multiple drilling sites appearing on the map. They’ve set their primary base as Covert Cavern, a mountainous location with numerous entrances. The point of interest is located to the north of Camp Cuddle and players should find it easy to identify on the map. The location is full of IO guards, chests, and a particular NPC named Gunnar.

The next Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG set, Dawn of Majesty, will bring a lot to the table when it’s released on April 17, including a new archetype called Despia that was revealed by Konami earlier today.  These Depia cards seem to be based on dramatized theatrical elements, with their origin being set in the words “despair,” “death,” and “thespian.”  In total, eight cards for the archetype were revealed, including four Effect Monsters, two Fusion Monsters, and two Spell Cards.

Yesterday’s Overwatch update quietly added some cool graphical options on the Xbox Series X and S. The update added three new preset graphics options to the Xbox version of the game—Resolution, Balanced, and Framerate—that all offer different experiences for the player. Resolution mode outputs at 4K, 60 Hz on Series X and 1440p, 60 Hz on Series S, Balanced mode “prefers image-quality at the cost of resolution,” and Framerate mode will sacrifice image quality and resolution to run the game at 120 FPS as long as you have a TV or monitor that supports a 120 Hz refresh rate.

Silicon Neuroma has come back to Destiny 2 with a bang. This weapon once dropped from The Pyramidion Nightfall on Io, but was briefly absent after Bungie removed Io from the game and capped the weapon’s Power Level. With The Witch Queen, though, the weapon returned to the Nightfall pool, giving players different perk options and another chance to obtain the version rifle without a Power Level cap. The new version of Silicon Neuroma boasts a few different perk combinations that stand out.

Chance “Sodapoppin” Morris has just been slapped with an indefinite suspension on Twitch, with the star now unable to stream on the site until the strike has been lifted. The ban is Soda’s second since early 2020⁠—he was previously banned for just 24 hours over nudity in a VRChat stream. Twitch has yet to confirm the reason behind Soda’s April 13 suspension. Similarly, the popular star has not yet commented and missed his Wednesday stream.
