Pokémon Go Battle League season six is receiving a massive overhaul from what players are used to, including the format changing from 10 ranks to 24 ranks and a three-month run time.  Along with the extended time that seasons will run, the changes to ranks extend to how players will earn a rank up through competing in matches.  The main change made to the progression system for the Battle League revolves around winning “additional battles.

Despite being talented at Fortnite, Aydan was far from the spotlight until he won all the battles he got into against NICKMERCS in Fortnite’s Summer Skirmish during 2018. Following his dominant performance, the controller player joined the ranks of Ghost Gaming, which he represented until 2020. While the hard-hitting, flashy active abilities of New World are going to be a main draw for many players, the game’s weapons are often balanced out through a vast table of passive abilities that can be equally as exciting. When selecting the weapon that you want to progress through the game with, passive abilities are going to be an important factor to consider.  From passively boosting your damage over time to increasing the amount of burst you might be able to do in certain scenarios, passive abilities play a large role in determining your character’s total level of effectiveness.

While Zeraora is appearing in Max Raid Battles throughout Pokemon Sword and Shield right now, you can’t actually catch it right now.  Even if you do manage to defeat the Thunderclap Pokémon and complete the raid, there is no prompt to throw a Poké Ball. Instead, you will be sent straight to the reward screen before exiting the raid altogether.  This is similar to the Mewtwo limited-event that set the standard for this type of Max Raid Battle, where the challenge is very high, but you don’t actually get the payoff of capturing a Legendary Pokémon.

Three years after being indefinitely banned from Twitch, Paul “Ice Poseidon” Denino issued an open letter in which he apologized to Twitch for his past bad behavior and requested that Twitch reverse the ban on his channel. “Three years ago I was banned on Twitch for enabling a toxic community.” Ice Poseidon stated in the video portion of his letter. “That toxic community affected the industry, myself, my friends, and other creators.

After a handful of delays and years of waiting, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has finally been released to a consensus positive reaction from both players and critics. The game averages an eight out of 10 rating from critics across the PC, PlayStation, and Xbox versions, with the player score average almost being a nine out of 10, according to Metacritic. Additionally, 94 percent of the over 10,000 reviews on Steam are positive.

Pokémon Go gets new updates every week that typically add new content or data that will be used at some point in the future. And, as part of a datamine for the game’s 0.235.0 update, several new assets were discovered, including one for a new level of raid—Mega Legendary.  We already knew that Mega Evolution would be getting an overhaul in an upcoming update thanks to an earlier discovery from datamining group PokeMiners, but now it looks like this will coincide with the first appearance of Mega Legendary Pokémon in Pokémon Go.

Magic: The Gathering’s newest addition to the comedic -un series, Unfinity, is delayed until the second half of 2022, Wizards of the Coast announced on Weekly MTG. Unfinity was scheduled to release on April 1 but has been delayed due to pandemic-related supply issues. There isn’t a new release date available at this time, but the new release window is the latter half of the year. This set was going to bridge the release gap between Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty in February and Streets of New Capenna later in the spring and early summer.

The 2021 Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG mega tin, the 2021 Tin of Ancient Battles, is almost here, and Konami has slowly started showing off cards by letting select content creators open the sealed product. This resulted in basically the entire set’s card list being confirmed, with multiple high-profile reprints and first printings hyping fans up for the Oct. 1 release in North America, though they hit Europe and Oceania on Sept. 16.

Not even a day after copies of Pokémon Legends: Arceus were discovered in the wild, users have seemingly already cracked some of the game’s files and started a full data mine, revealing what seem to be all of the new Pokémon, Hisuian forms, and more.  Among the supposed new Pokémon are three new Legendary Pokémon, one entirely new Pokémon that adds what looks to be a fourth genie to the Forces of Nature, and a pair of new forms for Dialga and Palkia.
