You open up Destiny 2, eager to try the new content, be it a new season or an event. You’re looking forward to getting the new gear and even have three different shaders planned for each of your Guardians—until the game gives you a message that the servers are “temporarily at capacity.” New content releases attract a flock of players all trying to join the game at the same time. This creates a bottleneck in the game, and the servers simply don’t have enough load to accommodate the spike in demand.

The summer of 2021 is in full swing and will soon be winding to a close, meaning that autumn isn’t far away. Autumn means many things—it will get cooler outside, the leaves will change color, and the NFL will be returning. And for the last 15 years, autumn also means a new Call of Duty title is on the way. It’s like clockwork. A new CoD title releases every year, with the bulk of Activision’s studios working on the franchise, whether it be yearly titles or the ongoing updates to the successful battle royale that is Call of Duty: Warzone.

During Dead by Daylight‘s sixth-anniversary stream earlier today, Behaviour Interactive revealed the game’s first anime collaboration with the massively popular anime and manga series Attack on Titan. The collab will feature a set of 10 outfits for existing survivors and killers and will be available for players “soon.” Behaviour Interactive revealed that lead protagonist Eren Yaeger will make an appearance as an outfit for Dwight, Scout Regiment squad leader Hange Zoë will show up as a skin for Zarina, and Oni will get to hunt down survivors as the Armored Titan.

Halo Infinite’s campaign drop has players looking to explore its unique narrative and open-world setting while getting plenty of collectibles along the way. These collectibles, which include audio logs and other trinkets, are available for use in both the campaign and multiplayer. While you can head back and collect what you may have missed on your journey through the campaign, these can easily be collected as you progress. One of the earliest locations in the campaign is Outpost Tremonius, and there are a handful of things to collect before you move on.

The Lunar Legend Festival is returning to Teamfight Tactics for another party, showcasing new Tactician skins, a Chibi Firecracker Jinx, and a Year of the Tiger Protector Little Legend. The festivities begin on Jan. 20 with the release of TFT Patch 12.2 and will run until the launch of Patch 12.3. A total of five Tacticians are featured in the Golden Lantern event, available via direct purchase, cracking Year of the Tiger eggs, completing missions, or through purchasable bundles.

The Haunting event is finally here, bringing the Halloween vibes to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone for players to enjoy. While the game may look slightly spookier throughout the event, all eyes will be on the new limited-time game modes and the skin bundles that will be available until Oct. 24. Blizzard Entertainment has been making new creative skins for all of Overwatch’s characters since the game’s release in 2016. Reaper, one of the game’s original characters, has one of the most loaded portfolios. Starting with the game’s first Halloween event, Reaper’s shotgun-wielding, edge lord persona allowed Blizzard to give him one of the game’s most popular event skins out of the gate as the headless horseman.  Since then they haven’t stopped rolling out impressive aesthetics for the villainous character.

Activision has unveiled the patch notes for the latest update in Call of Duty: Warzone, which begins with season five. With an influx of many big streamers and players switching up to play Apex Legends over Warzone, this patch is an important one. Whether it’s due to the meta growing stale or the constant influx of hackers, many players have been looking for a change of pace. The Season Five #Warzone update is going live soon!

Upon entering the new world of New World, Amazon Studios’ new MMO project, a big world full of enemies, players, and mystery will open up to you. Players participating in the New World closed beta are experiencing that for themselves already, travelling around Aeternum, slaying enemies, upgrading their combat skills, and crafting all the way. But a big open world means a lot of travel by foot to reach objectives, enemies, and landmarks.

After his unceremonious departure from Dignitas in June, the future for North American jungler Dardoch seemed uncertain. The 23-year-old had been considered a prodigy in the past but has fallen from grace following multiple disappointing season finishes. Now, he’s looking for a revival of his League of Legends career by aiming to join an LEC or ERL team for 2022, according to an Esportmaníacos report. Dardoch is reportedly interested in exploring options in multiple regions, including the ERLs, LLA, and the LCS.
