After months of radio silence, the LCS’ new commissioner Jackie Felling confirmed the league is still hosting the upcoming 2022 Mid-Season Showdown at the NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, complete with a live audience. In a Reddit comment, Felling reassured a fan that the finals were still happening. The team will also reveal “tickets and other details in the coming weeks,” according to her. This was the first major update around the postseason plans in seven months.

Having several ultimate skins with multiple forms on the Rift at the same time could potentially “break the game experience.” We would not be able to make a skin like Elementalist Lux again looking at what we know now. TSM removes bang from active VALORANT lineup

TSM has moved Sean “bang” Bezerra to the bench, the VALORANT player confirmed on Twitter yesterday. The move leaves the team’s lineup depleted to just James “hazed” Cobb, Matthew “Wardell” Yu, Yassine “Subroza” Taoufik, and Aleko “LeviathanAG” Gabuniya, who’s still on trial. “TSM wants to explore potential options and benched me for the time being,” bang wrote on Twitter. “I have nothing but love and appreciation for everyone on the team and the org treated me like family, they have allowed me to explore my options and I am willing to play/learn anything.

Zonic says he’s not retiring from CS:GO

Danny “zonic” Sørensen, Astralis’ former CS:GO head coach, has confirmed that he’s not retiring yet, he announced on Instagram hours after Astralis unveiled the additions of Kristian “k0nfig” Wienecke, Benjamin “blameF” Bremer, and head coach Alexander “ave” Held. Those three were signed by Astralis to replace zonic, Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen, and Emil “Magisk” Reif, whose contracts will expire at the end of the year. The 35-year-old skipper was a successful CS 1.6 player and is considered by many as the best CS:GO head coach of all time since he helped Astralis win four Major championships and a plethora of other premier tournaments.
