The 2021 League of Legends World Championship could be the last time fans see Kim “Khan” Dong-ha in action.  The DWG KIA top laner has been called up to serve in the South Korean military next year, he revealed in a recent live stream. The service, which can last up to three years, is compulsory for men between the ages of 18 and 28 and, in the case of Khan, is unavoidable.

Pokémon Go Tour: Johto is here, which means players are going to be reliving their original journeys through the second generation of the popular franchise, or experiencing Johto for the first time, through Pokémon Go.  This includes every Pokémon native to the Johto region being available as a Shiny Pokémon and players choosing their path by selecting either Gold or Silver once their adventure begins on Feb. 26.  And not only does the choice of version impact which Pokémon you’ll encounter, but once you choose your starter, there will be a slight shift in the rewards you receive from the event-exclusive Special Research.

Apex Legends’ Black Friday sale kicked off today with one of the battle royale’s most cherished skins. Wraith’s Airship Assassin cosmetic will make an appearance in the in-game store for the first time in over a year. The Black Friday sale also marks the return of Octane’s Laughing Fool visual. Both cosmetics will be available for purchase between Nov. 24 and Dec. 1. Airship Assassin is one of the rarest Wraith skins in Apex.

In a recent stream, former League of Legends pro Doublelift talked about the fresh accusations aimed at TSM by the Washington Post and revealed that the esports team tried to sue him for disparagement. Doublelift went through CEO Andy “Reginald” Dinh’s response to the allegations on TSM’s subreddit. After calling out the org’s CEO for addressing only one paragraph of the Washington Post report, Doublelift said that Reginald is probably “sitting there with his team of lawyers right now, watching my stream, asking his lawyers if it’s viable to sue me for fucking disparagement over this stream I’m doing now.

School is in session for Magic: The Gathering players with the upcoming release of Strixhaven: School of Mages. Containing a total of 275 cards, the Strixhaven (STX) set is scheduled to be released in April. Located on the plane of Arcavios, Strixhaven University is where the elite students from the Magic multiverse attend school to hone their skills. The university allegedly contains a copy of every spell within the multiverse, housed within the Biblioplex.

High ping is a constant problem in online games—and CS:GO isn’t an exception. Ping in online video games refers to internet latency. It’s the time it takes for your connection to register a command via the game’s server. The unit of ping or latency is milliseconds. The higher that number, the more lag you’ll experience in the game. It’s normally related to internet connection issues but there are some things you can try to fix high ping aside from upgrading your internet.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus is taking players to a new yet familiar region as we go back in time to the Hisui region, an ancient version of what became Sinnoh. As you’d expect, plenty of Pokémon from the Sinnoh region will be available to encounter and capture, and these include some of its most iconic legendary Pokémon. Arceus is the focal Pokémon of this game, but you’ll be able to get your hands on other favorites, like Darkrai and Shaymin, by completing certain in-game events.
