Overwatch’s Anniversary event began yesterday, and among the exclusive in-game goodies players can get their hands on is a Nano D.Va skin. The green and blue outfit has pink accents and is a callback to a previous exclusive skin challenge event. And just like last time, you won’t be able to get it in a loot box or by using credits. The Nano D.Va skin can only be obtained by completing the game’s weekly challenge this week.

There’s been some significant advancements in PC technology this year, with one of the most substantial being the introduction of DDR5 memory. It’s the first generational upgrade in RAM since DDR4 was introduced in 2014, and also the start of a key question for many PC gamers and builders: is DDR5 RAM worth it for your gaming PC? Spoiler season is quickly approaching in the world of Magic: The Gathering and with it comes an explanation of the new Adventure mechanic in the Throne of Eldraine set.  Releasing on Oct. 4, Throne of Eldraine is full of fairy tale themes, newly-designed cards, and a mechanic called Adventure. Magic designer Gavin Verhey explained that the Adventure mechanic is an alternative spell connected with a creature spell (similar to split cards).

While New World might not feature a Halloween-specific event, the game is still getting into the spooky spirit with its first in-game store update boasting plenty of new looks to celebrate the holiday. Certain variations of the gun used a straight bolt and a scope mounted on the left side of the gun to allow for the use of stripper clips for faster reloads.

Heavy-metal music is finally coming back to League of Legends with the third release from Riot Games’ rock band, Pentakill, after a four-year wait from fans. The album, called Lost Chapter, will drop on Sept. 8, the developer announced earlier today. Riot has teased the virtual band’s comeback with several appearances and teasers throughout the year. A new image was revealed earlier this month, showing what has turned out to be the third album’s release date.
