OpTic Gaming signs ZLaner, reveals OpTic Warzone

OpTic Gaming has signed popular Call of Duty: Warzone streamer ZLaner, the organization announced today.  The announcement comes on the heels of an accidental leak from OpTic Texas player Shotzzy, who mentioned ZLaner’s signing on stream earlier today before tomorrow’s scheduled announcement. After the OpTic-Envy merger was made official earlier today, it was announced that Envy Warzone streamers Bobby Poff, Teep, and Sebas would be creating content under the OpTic Gaming branding.

Riot Games has unveiled the newest additions to League of Legends’ Bewitching cosmetic line with Fiora, Nami, Poppy, Syndra, and Yuumi all getting the spooky skin treatment. See League of Legends on Amazon Morgana already has a Bewitching skin, but any players who frequent the Fallen Angel will be glad to know that she’ll be going golden as a Prestige Edition skin this time around.

Sources: Cloud9 to add Curry for Xeta

North American organization Cloud9 is set to add T1 VALORANT player Rahul “curry” Nemani for Son “xeta” Seon-ho, multiple sources with knowledge of the deal have told Dot Esports.  Curry was unable to play with Cloud9 tonight as they failed to add him prior to the roster lock. Curry’s first match for Cloud9 will likely be against OpTic Gaming next week on May 22. Cloud9 is one of the few NA teams that did not change their roster during the hectic offseason.

When is Twisted Treeline getting removed from League of Legends?

It’s almost time for League of Legends players to say goodbye to Twisted Treeline, both the map and the three-vs-three game mode. Twisted Treeline has been around for 10 years, but it hasn’t received enough love that makes it worth keeping it in League’s official map rotation. Twisted Treeline has been stale for a while. There were barely any patches, balances, and updates over the past few years. A smaller number of players that were actively playing three-vs-three matches have been vocal about it for a while, but the vast majority of League players simply didn’t care.

Who won the 2022 OTK Rift, OTK’s League of Legends tournament?

On March 18, esports organization OTK hosted a $10,000 League of Legends tournament featuring eight teams consisting entirely of streamers. Team Buddha, which featured Buddha, xQc, Sykkuno, Harry, and Blaustoise, ultimately beat out their competition and won the first ever OTK Rift event. Each of the eight teams had one player designated as team leader, also acting as the namesake for their respective squad. The eight teams competing at OTK Rift included Team Buddha, Team Sodapoppin, Team Esfand, Team Tectone, Team Erobb, Team QTCinderella, Team Mizkif, and Team Critikal.
