MTG Lurrus Companion banned in Vintage and Legacy formats, Standard bans on hold

Wizards of the Coast revealed bans in the Magic: The Gathering formats Vintage, Legacy, and Brawl today.  Lurrus of the Dream-Den has officially become the first Companion from the Ikoria: Lari of Behemoths set to get banned in a Magic format. Despite the controversy over the creation of Companion cards in Standard, WotC left its most popular format alone in today’s Banned and Restricted announcement, banning four cards across three formats.

Niantic has officially revealed that it will be sponsoring two Pokemon GO community projects, namely The Sliph Road and Sliph.gg. As seen in the company’s latest blog post, Niantic expressed that it is “excited to announce” its sponsorship of Sliph Road, which it described as a “grassroots network of Trainers whose communities span the globe.” “The Silph Road has acted as a hub for Pokémon GO players to connect with each other, find local communities, and participate in meet-ups and tournaments since the game’s beginning,” the post said.

VALORANT‘s Episode Four, Act Three will introduce the new agent Fade alongside a new battle pass full of unique weapon skins, buddies, player cards, and more.  The Episode Four, Act Three Battlepass includes several new Gun Buddies, over 10 new Player Cards, 16 new sprays, and three new weapon skin lines. Hot on the trails of the newly-released Forsaken skins, Riot is once again expanding on VALORANT’s weapon lore with the upcoming Tethered Realms bundle. The new skin line, which will debut on May 26, plays on those familiar thematics of good vs. evil seen in the already-existing Forsaken and Sovereign cosmetics. Tethered Realms uses the same shader method seen in Winterwunderland, transitioning between two different scenes whenever you go from sunlight to shade on a map.
