To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Xbox, Halo Infinite’s multiplayer released today around three weeks ahead of the game’s scheduled Dec. 8 launch. While the multiplayer game is technically still in “beta,” Halo Infinite’s publisher said the season one battle pass is already available in the beta and progress that players make on their accounts will carry over once the game officially goes live. Season 1: Heroes of Reach officially begins today.

Pokémon Sword and Shield have a variety of version-exclusive Pokémon for players to catch. One of these Pokémon is Stonjourner, a Rock-type species that resembles Galar’s many standing stones. Stonjourner is a rare find, but with a little luck and a lot of patience, players will be able to add the Big Rock Pokémon to their team before they take on the Elite Four. Unless found in a Max Raid Battle, Stonjourner won’t appear until later in the game after the player has obtained the eighth badge.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus mixes up its NPC requests by having some descriptions only vaguely describe one aspect of a species of Pokémon before turning you loose to go capture them or complete pages of your Pokédex to bring information back.  Some of these descriptions will leave casual fans scratching their heads, but for the Coming Up Roses request, finding a Pokémon with a scythe on each arm shouldn’t be too hard.

Pokémon Sword and Shield have several optional items you can obtain in the game that will help you finish your Pokédex and breed a competitive team a lot easier than in previous games.  One of these items is the Oval Charm, which increases the chances of an egg appearing in one of the Pokémon Nurseries if you leave two compatible Pokémon there to breed.  To get this extremely useful charm, you’ll need to battle against an NPC based on legendary game designer Shigeki Morimoto—the man who created the Pokémon battle system.

Popular Twitch streamer xQc shared his opinion on the current state of GTA roleplay, claiming that the servers are worse than ever. Though an iconic yet notorious member of the NoPixel community, xQc has notably taken some time off from the server. The streamer has gone almost the entire month of March without touching the game. While other games such as Elden Ring and Fortnite‘s no-build mode have taken his attention, xQc said the ‘decaying’ state of GTA roleplay servers is another reason for his extended hiatus.

After just over a week, Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel has already been downloaded more than four million times across all available platforms, which at the time included PC and all major consoles.  Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel was officially released for consoles and PC on Jan. 19, with Konami claiming that a release for mobile devices would be following shortly after. That proved to be true as iOS and Android users started seeing the game pop up on Jan.

The D2R launch has been marred with server problems, game creation issues, and the temporary deletion of characters. The numbers behind Teamfight Tactics‘ player base were revealed in a report by Riot Games in 2021. The autobattler had an extraordinary launch in 2019, introducing millions of players to the genre, exploding on Twitch, and even making a name for itself in esports. The hype has since simmered down, but according to Riot, the game is still thriving. In fact, TFT has been so successful that it increased League’s global average peak concurrent players by an astonishing 30 percent in 2019.

A complete Sinnoh Pokédex in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl allows the player to access new opportunities in the post game, yet one Pokémon may elude players due to its strange encounter method: the Forbidden Pokémon, Spiritomb. For many players, the only time they will see Spiritomb is as a part of Champion Cynthia’s team—where the Ghost and Dark-type Pokémon will be the first to greet the player. In the original Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum games, this typing unique to only two Pokémon had no weaknesses, making Spiritomb a formidable foe that paired nicely with the remainder of Cynthia’s team.
