Niantic has prepared sweet celebrations for Pokémon Go fans around the world to enjoy with the upcoming Pokémon Go Fest, which will run on July 17 and 18. On top of multiple rewards, limited-time events will punctuate the two-day festival. Players will be able to purchase a ticket for $5, which will be much less costly than previous Pokémon Go Fests. And even without a ticket, fans will be able to enjoy certain parts of the event for free.

Octane’s mask is one of his trademarks in Apex Legends. He’s carried it with him in every in-game appearance, including legendary skins. But an Apex player tried to reconstruct what his face could look like without any gear. The creator redesigned Octane’s face from several different existing skins. His default appearance provided the top half of his face, while the bottom part appears to have come from Octane’s The Victory Lap cosmetic, in which the Adrenaline Junkie wears a helmet.

Pokémon UNITE has received its latest update, bringing the game to version 1.5.1.6 and offering a shiny-new mode for players to try out. Pokémon Sword and Shield add a bunch of new regional variants to the mix, including an Ice-type version of Black and White’s Darumaka and Darmanitan. Unlike in Black and White, where you could evolve a Darumaka into a Darmanitan simply by leveling up, Sword and Shield force you to evolve its Galar counterpart by using an evolution stone.

Regardless of which Pokémon you’re out to get, you should keep a close eye on your screen in case a Shiny Pokémon blesses you with its presence. While this will be the case for common Pokémon, the process of obtaining a Shiny Mythical or Legendary Pokémon will be significantly difficult. These Pokémon mostly appear in raids and special events, meaning you’ll need to prepare for the journey.

VALORANT can be a fun and exciting game where players work together to outsmart and outgun their enemies. After weeks of a divided player base over the sweeping changes made to Apex Legends’ ranked mode in season 13, Respawn is making more tweaks to the ranked mode. Coming to the game alongside the Awakening collection event, these changes seem to be geared toward making ranked feel a little less punishing for the vast majority of players. Given how bloated the upper ranks of the game had become, Respawn’s solutions led to a significant decrease in Masters players most notably, in addition to fewer players in the upper ranks of the game more broadly across all platforms.
